It was just before 4:30 this morning, I woke up to hearing the dings run up and down the stairs so I thought I better get up and let them out because I really didn’t want an accident happening just because I was to slow to open the door. Turns out that they really didn’t […]
The temperature rose to 32C (89,6F) on Thursday and the night was way too warm as well so I’m still very tired after that. Not only I but most of us had a hard time that day. Today however we’re back to 20C (68F) and life feels good 🙂 It’ll stay like this, mostly sunny […]
It’s bit chilly again today (and they’re saying it will be the same tomorrow but turn warmer on Tuesday. We’re lucky if it reaches 18C (64,4F) today. I don’t mind after the long heatwaves we’ve had. The morning was quite nice though, no wind, the sun rising and a few birds singing. It must have […]
Cloudy here today and every now and again some rain has fallen. Not much, not even enough to make the ground beneath the tree canopies even damp. Also a bit chilly since it just reached 17C (60,8F). The work week was warm though so I guess this weather made the day a perfect day to […]
The temperature never rose above 12C (53,6F) today and I think that if I hadn’t known it will rise up to 20C (68F) already tomorrow it would have annoyed me quite a bit 🙂 but I have to say it did feel rather nice despite it also raining well in to the afternoon. We needed […]
We didn’t get especially much rain during last night but what difference it made to the vegetation! Everything looked alive and that wasn’t the case yesterday. I must admit that I still felt a bit disappointed but it is what it is. We woke up around 3 am today and normally I would just have […]
It has been, for us Scandinavians, nasty hot here with temperatures around 33C (91,4F). Guess if I’m happy to be caring about the public pool in Floby every day 🙂 Today I decided I should sweep all the stairs in the pool and brush away all sand that the bathers had brought in with them […]
I’m sitting here in front of the computer eating strawberries that my neighbours kids thought I should have 🙂 Yes I am spoiled 🙂 🙂 They had been to one of the many self picking places today because the season for strawberries is almost open and this was supposed to be the last weekend they […]
26C (78,8F) now in the afternoon and even though there’s a wind blowing it still feels a bit too warm. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to live in a place where this is a rather low temperature 🙂 🙂 🙂 The morning was nice though, 13C (55,4F) just as the sun […]
The morning was cool and nice but after that it has become warmer and warmer again, still the real heatwave won’t arrive until early next week. The temperatures will rise to around 30C (86F) and possibly a bit higher as well. That’s when I’m so happy about working all mornings cleaning a big pool 🙂 […]
So it was only 2C (35,6F) last night, when we went up and out, way too early, it had risen to 4C (39,2F) and I would lie if I said it felt nice 🙂 Still it really woke me up and gave me a good start to the working day 🙂 🙂 🙂 Anyway, so […]
So we had a rather cool morning today so the morning walk was totally fly free 🙂 It was only when we were almost at home it became warm enough for the flies to start annoying me. To be honest though, we do have almost alarmingly few flies and mosquitoes this year. You who have […]
