I took these photos yesterday when we were lucky to have sunshine on our morning walk. We had a really spectacular sunrise this morning just before the clouds covered that gap in the sky. I was a bit surprised about it since they guessed we would have clouds covering the sky all day. They sort […]
It has been a really nice day here even though the weak wind was pretty cold. Below 0C (32F) temperature during night again but it looks like the coming night will be the last one in a while to have that. From now on it’ll be cloudy but warmer winds will finally fly in […]
So I left the cottage to release another mouse from the box trap before having the morning walk with the dogs. I was a bit later than usual, around nine am even though I had been up since before six am just because it still was so cold after the night and a cold […]
We’ve now had two really nice days, yesterday no wind at all and today a weak but a bit chilly one but it did cool down some while being in the sunshine for a while. Nights however have been way too cold, yesterday night it fell down to -5C (23F) and last night -3C […]
The storm is over but it took its time, it was really windy almost all day yesterday but the worst gusts had at least passed by. Over 30 000 households lost power and trees fell all over the south west parts of Sweden. Cars got destroyed and lots of buildings as well. From what […]
It was windy already when I woke up this morning and it has kept on all day but now it’ll calm down during the night just to grow up to be a storm hitting us hard tomorrow afternoon/ night. The storm called Dave is at the moment hitting the British Isles so it’ll be […]
Yesterday was a bit meh weather-wise to be honest, chilly, and rainy in the morning but sunny and warmish in the afternoon, today however we had sunshine from the start. Yes chilly in the beginning but that change pretty quickly to rather warm, also at least here at home it felt like it was […]
The morning was anything but nice here, very windy and the wind was chilling col plus some drizzle mixed in but I see us as the lucky ones because an area south of us had snow. Not that the snow stayed because it was too warm (well warm doesn’t sound right but it was […]
-5C (23F) here this morning and it was like being slapped in the face when I followed the dogs outside first thing in the morning. Still the sun rose and it has stayed cloud free all day despite they saying otherwise yesterday 🙂 I guess the wind arrived later because every now and again […]
I can’t really complain about the weather even if I actually is a bit disappointed at it 🙂 Nice but cold morning and we were supposed to have sunshine for a big part of the day but like so often this village lies at the border to where the clouds should fly away but […]
I do like it when the weather sites get it wrong in the right way 🙂 It was supposed to be much more cloudy and less warm today than yesterday but it turned out to be the opposite 🙂 Still there was a pretty cold wind blowing so if it reached me my blood […]
We’ve had two really nice days here, mostly sunny and up to 13C (55,4F). We did have a chilly wind yesterday but as usually it didn’t reach my garden 🙂 Nights have been cold though and water surfaces have been frozen when we’ve passed them on our morning walks. No more moose sightings but […]
