Lets hope the rain actually comes.

Warm night and a wonderful day, well it would have been wonderful if that wind that never stops had been calmer. The gusts were really strong and I guess it’s because the cold wind from the arctic is on the way. Still most parts in my garden was wind free and I, instead of going annoyed by the wind instead used it to cool down when it was too hot in the sunshine 🙂 Lets now hope the rain that is predicted actually comes both during the night and tomorrow and that it will be a lot. It is very rare that I ever say I want rain 🙂 🙂

Only photos taken fro or in my garden today. Red Campion that I once brought in from the forest, it spreads really fast in a garden but are easily moved.

Not beautiful but the berries are delicious, Red currant flowers.

Grape hyacinth.

Sloe, nothing one ever should plant in the garden. The berries are delicious as ade but it spreads everywhere and has nasty thorns.

I have actually done something today 🙂 I visited my friend in the garden center (and like always I came home with something, two big scented pelargoniums, or Like English speaking people call them, geraniums. I’ll prune them some, plant the cuttings and place them in the sun even though it will be a bit chilly during nights). It is the most beautiful road, winding here and there and absolutely now place to stop and take photos. Lots of customers go course, it is that time of the year. At least one apple tree was sold while I was there 🙂 Lots of new varieties of pelargoniums and petunias not forgetting all the dahlias. I think that place is at least four times as big as my garden center/ nursery was 🙂

Gooseberry flowers. this one gives red berries.

This is the first Coneflower to ever survive a winter in my garden. They’ve always died before. It is a red one if I remember it right.

This Yellow wood anemone just looks sad in the beginning but after a while it is filled with petals.

I haven’t done much here at home though, mostly watered the plants I just planted and a few of those planted last year just in case their roots haven’t grown down enough to where there’s water. The new cherry tree is in bloom now and I really should rip of the flowers now since it hasn’t rooted in the ground yet but I can save a couple of cherries if it gives any instead :-)The dogs and the monster has mostly been sleep since it has been so warm, Alma in the sunshine, Malkolm in the shadows and the monster all over the place 🙂

Marsh marigolds growing in my roots zone 🙂

I also have a light blue White wood anemone. More flowers this year than all other put together I think 🙂

I should remove the flowers because the tree will use so much energy to produce any fruit, but it’s better if the wild bees get the nectar and I’ll save a few cherries just to see what they taste like 🙂

New leafs on my Quince (Cydonia oblonga). I didn’t think they would survive at all since they aren’t that hardy.

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and perhaps I’ll make some toast with lots of cheese on 🙂

Have a great day!
