I never made a spongecake yesterday, instead I made another apple crumble pie. Those tiny apples are just perfect for pies but it sure takes its time to cut out the parts not wanted and it takes a lot of them as well 🙂 Still I really didn’t want a normal one so I added cinnamon, clover, ginger and cardamom. It felt like an early christmas dessert 🙂 I looked up that tree this morning and there’s still lots of those tiny apples so I brought in a few more and still leaving lots to the birds.

It has rained all day and normally I would have stayed indoors all day but the dogs became restless and Alma is in heat so she’s a bit much as it is, so we had a walk despite the rain. I. of course, brought a camera but I had already prepared photos for todays post, I took them four days ago, so I’ll save the new ones for another rainy day.

We walked out to the bog and even though I never saw any bigger animals, well I did see one raven and those are quite big and also a Jay, the dogs knew they were out there 🙂 I’m pretty sure we disturbed some wild hogs because the road had big holes in them. I knew the holes were really new because that rain would have smoothed them out if it had passed more than a few minutes. I’m not a fan of wild hogs but if they don’t care about me I won’t bother them 🙂

I haven’t done much today, mostly because of the rain but I did read for quite some time 🙂 I have so many books to read now that the dark winter days will be perfect for reading books 🙂 One of my brothers and I have an exchange every now and again, he gets all my comic magazines and I’ll get all the books he has been reading 🙂 I have many big bags filled with books that I haven’t been able to start to read for a long time 🙂

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day, well it will be a few cups because I just made a pot. I’ll just have the tea though, I have lots of tiny apples but for once I really don’t want more apple pie 🙂
