“Warm” and rainy is after all less fun than cold and sunny.

So I woke up to heavy rain and I must admit that even if I really dislike cold weather it’s still much nicer than torrential rain 🙂 The dogs hurried in and out just so they could do their business. Every piece of the floor is muddy even if I clean it up every time they’ve been outside. Still since the ground water levels still are way too low I guess this weather is a good thing and I’ll only complain a little about it 🙂

I had hoped we wouldn’t have to have any walks in this weather but both Alma and Malkolm became way too restless after a while so as soon as I noticed that the rain had calmed down we went outside. It didn’t take more than a couple of minutes before it was back again 🙂 🙂 The heavy rain even dampened Alma’s whining so I guess it wasn’t such a bad thing to have a walk in the rain anyway 🙂

One thing with weather like this is that not a single animal will move around, they stay where they can be as dry as possible so I knew that no hunters would be out today (well I knew “our” hunters wouldn’t but one none of the other groups around here would sit still in the rain getting soaked 🙂 🙂 The Monster is at home as well, I guess she got tired go staying in the dog house/yard/garage by herself all day. She tends to be with the dogs when they are there so staying alone, even if there most likely are mice and voles around can’t be that fun, not even for a monster cat.

I’ve had my dinner but still feel that I would like something more, like dessert 🙂 I’m thinking of baking a sponge cake perhaps and I can put in all the smaller apples I brought indoors yesterday. Perhaps I’ll have some cardamom in it as well? We swedes love cardamom in anything cake/ cooky, pastry 🙂 I’ll however start with making a pot of tea 🙂
