Nothing much has happened this week, well one thing but I tell You about that next week. The weather is a bit cooler and we’ve had some rain falling as well 🙂 It poured down in the village with the pool and in Falköping and I thought my water barrels would be filled with new water. Turns out we had almost no rain here. The gravel road was dry and no more water in the barrels.

Well I have to look at the positive side, the slugs and snails have problems this year 🙂 It has been too dry for them so we’ve had barely any at all. Rain now would most likely just help them enough to get a good new start next spring 🙂 Also almost no mosquitoes is nice. So now I’m hoping this drought have killed lots of moose flies as well 🙂

Lots and lots of tomatoes are just about to be ripe so now I better find a recipe for tomato sauce. I guess it is enough with tomatoes, basil and salt/ pepper to be honest because that works for anything. I had red that beefsteak tomatoes needed a long time to ripen but to be honest they are much quicker to do so than any of the smaller ones I have 🙂 🙂 I have loads of small ones that seems to refuse to turn red and I know these should be red. I think it is a Polish variety and it is supposed to become dark red. Well there’s still time since they grow in the greenhouse, I do have another growing outside the greenhouse, a small one, that gives ripe tomatoes almost every day though.

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. I think I’ll have a couple of hard breads at the same time. I’m thinking blue cheese, tomato slices, perhaps a meatball or two and a hard cheese on the top 🙂

Have a great day!
