A rather perfect day weather-wise.

I thought it would be cold here this morning because yesterday evening had a cold bite in the air. It didn’t stay clear though so very little morning mist but 8C (46,4F) and no wind. The dogs woke me up at 3:45 and it did sound as if they really needed to go outside. So up I went, let the dogs outside and watched them run around the garden twice and then they wanted to go indoors again 🙂 🙂 Well the Monster followed them in so I guess they heard her shouting to get indoors and wanted to help her.

They fell asleep in the sofas as soon as they were inside again but I wasn’t that lucky, so I made a pot of tea and scrolled on my phone instead. It was still cloudy when we went out on our morning walk and totally wind free. Nota single fly disturbed us on the entire walk so I enjoyed every second of it. We saw a Roe deer but that was it. The monster however, who decided to follow us on the walk today noticed something, probably wild hogs and she looked like a fur ball for a few seconds and then she went back to normal again.

The sun showed when we came back home again, so I had some of that tea, opened the kitchen door and just enjoyed the morning. Bumblebees were buzzing around, cranes trumpeted in the fields and a dog was howling somewhere in the village. Someone seems to have thought it was a bit cold so they had started a fire, the smoke smelled really nice and swallows were flying around over the cow pasture on the other side of the gravel road. My guess would have been that there must be more flies around the cows where the cows actually was, on the other side of my fence but who am I to tell the swallows that they were wrong 🙂 🙂

My neighbours were going to a wedding today and their thought was that she would do the makeup on the bride and then go back home to pick him up. Well plans never go as we want, do they? 🙂 I didn’t hear the text message when it came because I was napping in the recliner 🙂 Luckily for him I checked my phone when I finally woke up because he needed someone to help him go to the wedding. No panic, we had an hour to get there and it should only take 30 minutes as most 🙂 🙂 We arrived at the wedding five minutes before it would start because he had checked the mobile for how to get there. So I followed instructions and after a while it felt like we were just driving around in a big sort of circle 🙂 🙂 We actually were driving in a big circle 🙂 🙂 🙂 I have seen parts of this county I didn’t know exist 🙂 🙂 If we had driven the right way that the mobile for some reason didn’t want us to see we would have been there thirty minutes earlier :-):-) We should have gone down the road to where my friend has the garden center but instead drove the opposite way 🙂 🙂

After that I could go back home again to just enjoy the day. I even did some laundry and still didn’t feel like I wasted a really nice day 🙂 I’ve just had my last cup of tea for the day but I think there still is time enough to have an ice cream 🙂

Have a great day!
