We’ve had a really nice and cool day here today. Looking at the thermometer says fairly warm but we had a cool, semi strong wind blowing and big parts of the day was cloudy so it actually felt much nicer than it was 🙂 Hunters out all day in the forest so we have spent our day either in the garden or indoors napping 🙂

My neighbours kids called me from the fence between our gardens. That fence is rather low and doesn’t even keep badgers outside so I really don’t know why it still is there, especially since there’s a thin lilac hedge blocking the view between the gardens 🙂 🙂 Anyway, it was the older sister calling this time because they have newly hatched chickens in the chicken coop 🙂 I also said hi to their tiny rabbits, I really don’t like rabbits but I can of course not tell the kids that 🙂 🙂 These are at least pretty small so even I can see how cute they are 🙂 🙂

Nothing much has happened here since yesterday, I’ve done the laundry, watered the vegetables and napped. I haven’t had the energy make dinner for the coming week at work but I hope I have that tomorrow so I at least make it for four days 🙂 More tomatoes are soon ripe enough to harvest, I’ll need to make a lot of tomato sauce and put it in the freezer 🙂 🙂 I found a second spaghettis pumpkin and I think I saw a squash as well. Normally I would have drowned in squash by now but this year has been very different. I did have a tiny watermelon growing but it’s gone. Have no idea where or why it isn’t there any more.

I’ve decided that I will not grow beefsteak tomatoes, Ritchie tomatoes or melons next year. I’ll also skip cabbage in any variety because cabbage butterflies and cabbage moths lay so many eggs on them. I pick away loads of caterpillars every day now.

I planted the last Heart Walnut in a huge bucket because the pot it grew in was way too small and the tree started to look too sad. I have no idea what to do if it survives winter in that bucket because I’ll have to move it sooner or later and it will weigh way too much for me to even move the bucket slightly 🙂

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. I’ve already had a French roll with blue cheese, meatballs, tomato slices and cheese so I really can’t eat anything more 🙂 By the way, did You know that the Swedish name for dandelions in Swedish would be worm rose in English 🙂
