It’s bit chilly again today (and they’re saying it will be the same tomorrow but turn warmer on Tuesday. We’re lucky if it reaches 18C (64,4F) today. I don’t mind after the long heatwaves we’ve had. The morning was quite nice though, no wind, the sun rising and a few birds singing. It must have rained a lot more during the night than I thought it would, I could see that the water barrels at the greenhouse were a bit more filled.

I had planned on walking out to the bog but the grass is so high and also very wet so we would have been soaked long before we even reached the bog so we walked down to the creek again. This morning we did see a Roe deer buck but that’s it. If I want to see more bigger animals we do need to get out just as the sun slowly rise and today that happened long before we went outdoors 🙂

I’m still feeling a bit tired but nothing compared to what it was like yesterday. I’ll have to do the laundry today but that’s it. So no tiering chores and mostly relaxing will help with that last tiredness I think, that and lots of tea 🙂 I need to find a space for that last heart walnut seedling. I have one great spot but it is too dark because both lilacs and an apple tree takes away almost all of the sunshine that otherwise would have reached the ground. Other places are too close to either my little red oak or the apricot tree that managed last winter best. Well I’ll figure out something sooner or later I guess 🙂

My bell peppers are finally showing some small bell peppers. The odd thing is that they all look very purple in their colour, I’ve never eaten a purple bell pepper in my life 🙂 That can happen when sowing seeds from bought vegetables because one never knows what varieties it has in its background. Sooner or later parts of those forefathers can pop up again and I do hope they’ll stay purple 🙂

It is time to make a pot of tea again. Perhaps start with the laundry as well so it’s done. I’ll also have to figure out what to have for dinner butI think I already have decided on pancakes 🙂
