Cloudy here today and every now and again some rain has fallen. Not much, not even enough to make the ground beneath the tree canopies even damp. Also a bit chilly since it just reached 17C (60,8F). The work week was warm though so I guess this weather made the day a perfect day to just relax. I wonder if I’ve had a slight cold or something though because I’ve been freezing on and off and have been sleeping a lot as well. What ever it was is over by now though 🙂

I even slept rather late for being me, didn’t get up until 6am and we didn’t have our morning walk until after 8am. We walked down to the creek and this time we walked alone, I guess the Monster thought it was a bit too late in the day to follow us 🙂 I didn’t see any bigger animals but I guess the dogs did because they were suddenly pretty excited 🙂 There were a few more flies annoying me in the forest now but we still have very few compared to how it used to be. Also I’ve noticed that no moths (we call them night butterflies) flies around the lights outside at night!?

I had been up for a short while one morning when my neighbour called me, she had come half way to her work place when suddenly one spring at her right front wheel had broken and she had managed to park the car outside a Lidl store. So since she really couldn’t as her boyfriend to come and get her since they have two children I was the one having to drive there, pick her up. Drive home again so she could have my car so she could go to work 🙂 🙂 🙂 No bigger problem for me though since I and her boyfriend work at the same place, so he has been driving us to work this week 🙂 🙂 He fixed the spring today so now everything is back to normal again 🙂

Beside sleeping a lot today I’ve only done one thing, baked French rolls 🙂 Well I was at the supermarket for a short while as well to be honest. I thought it would be lots of customers there since it is vacation time and sad weather but there was only one person at the cashier when I arrived there. Not especially many cars in the parking lot either so I guess there were even fewer people at the Dollar store. When I had a garden center this time of year was the calmest period so to be honest I could just have closed up the entire July and a week or two in to August.

I’m almost as tired as I have been all day so I think I better have that last cup of tea before I fall asleep in the recliner 🙂 Magpies are jumping all over the roof and it’s surprisingly how well I can hear it here indoors 🙂 At least the Monster has given up the idea that it’s a great idea to chase them up there, she knows how evil they can be now 🙂
