They said that we would have fog from early evening yesterday and all day today. We didn’t have any fog yesterday so I thought that it most likely would just be cloudy today and so wrong I was 🙂 We had thick fog when we woke up and it stayed all day. It varied from thick to pea soup on and off all day 🙂

We went out at the time the sun was about to rise and walked down to the creek. The camera had big problems finding anything to focus on so lots of times I had to focus the lens myself. I can say it isn’t easy to focus on something that is barely visible even without looking through a camera 🙂 Both Alma and Malkolm behaved pretty well, Alma whined just a little and Malkolm took it easy with the pulling. I was even surprised how well they behaved when we suddenly stood rather close to two Roe deer in a field.

The deer just stared at us and I guess that since they didn’t move Alma must have been a bit confused 🙂 The deer didn’t even run away when we started to walk again, they just stood there watching us leave 🙂 We had a little longer walk today since both behaved so well and walked up to the bog before we went back home. I could hear some ravens flying by and a few small birds were tweeting while they flew from one tree to another while looking for insects trying to find a place where they could open the winter.

I’ve done very little for the rest of the day. I’ve made millet porridge and I liked it. It is very close to another porridge we eat here called semolina porridge, I can’t eat that any more because it’s made from wheat so now I sort of finally can again 🙂 I also watched youth olympics. Today they showed horse jumping and if I understood it right they have a lot of horses that they raffles off to the riders. I’m perhaps not a horse person but it was interesting to watch those youths (have no idea how old they are so kids sounds a bit too young) jumping around with horses they really don’t know 🙂

It is time to have that last cup of tea for the day. perhaps I should make one of those mug cakes in my new micro? I’ll put in christmas spices and while I drink and eat I’ll ponder over what I’ll make with that clay that just waits for me to make something of it, I feel that it should be something christmassy but one never knows until it’s done 🙂

Have a great day!
