I forgot something and came home with something completely different :-)

So the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was to check the news and especially the mid terms elections in the US. Congratulations to the blue storm that happened 🙂 I’m still very interested in how it went in Mississippi, when I checked it was a lead to the democrat with only 28 votes and I’ve seen no updates after that. I really hope that the democrats now can work together because unlike it is here they have made their promises to their constituencies and just refuse to do something for the greater cause unless they get something else and that can make another politician grumpy because if they can have something why wouldn’t they also have something back. Sometimes it feels like democrats are their own worst enemies 🙂 Our politicians aren’t any better but they stay together in a party line/opinion but bickers between parties instead, they are so bad that we don’t even have a new government here after our election we had in September 🙂 🙂 🙂 They rather behave like toddlers than to act responsible and form a government, they are truly pathetic!

So all the photos today was taken yesterday when the Monster decided to follow us on our walk.

It has been a cold day here but sunny and mostly wind free. We went out on our first walk just before the sun rose and it was so cold that I couldn’t feel my fingers after a while 🙂 We walked down to the creek and saw a roe deer gracing in a field. I rarely see any now days and I know that it isn’t because of hunters, they are really careful here in this area so they don’t kill too many. So I guess it’s because we now days have wolves around (not any now from what I can notice) so they have become more skittish. Any sound they don’t recognise can be something that is dangerous to them. Other places like towns or cities on the other hand have lots of them even close to the city center and have huge problems because they run out in to the traffic and get hit by cars.

So this is the place she doesn’t want to pass. She complains loudly but always run to us when she realises that we will continue out to the bog.

There had been a wildlife accident on the road to Skara this morning, I drove to Skara to buy some tea and a few other things and they had just cleaned up the road when I passed. I really wanted Tewa because I had so little left that I would only be able to make one more pot, so I came home with a microwave instead 🙂 🙂 🙂 My old microwave made the fuse pop last winter so I had to toss it and I haven’t had one since then. I have been thinking of buying one online but I’ve never come around to do it. I’ve checked lots of sites and ben close to order one but changed my mind. So today when I was at the supermarket I saw they only had one left and thought why not that one 🙂 🙂 🙂

I was really sad when I realised that I hadn’t bought any tea, I really didn’t want to have to drive to the supermarket again. I have very little space in my kitchen so to make place for the micro I had to remove the baking machine and to my very big surprise a box with my favourite tea fell out from its hiding space behind an old scale 🙂 🙂 🙂 So I am sitting here with a cup of that tea right now 🙂 I have tried the micro and the first thing I did was warm sandwiches 🙂 Now I can just toss anything I’ve made in the micro and have a ready dinner, as it has been up to now I’ve had to turn on the stove and cook it all one more time.

It is difficult to see in this photo but her tail was thick as a bottle brush. There’s something she really doesn’t like out here.

It is time to refill that cup of tea and it will be the last for the day. I’m going to put out the wildlife camera again. I did it two nights ago and all I caught was a certain monster walking up and down the gravel road 🙂
