It is quite windy already.

It did start rather early today, the wind that is, but I can hear it’s, the wind that is, is getting stronger and stronger. The steady wind won’t be that bad but the gusts will be. I thought I would notice it much more than I do so perhaps the houses on the other side of the field protects more than I thought they would. Lots of the wind is going through my big apple tree though and that does help a lot. Still the wind can change direction so one never knows.

No hunters arrived today, I guess they are in the other area where they they rent the hunting rights instead. I didn’t mind because when they are there we have the forest for our selves. The dogs and I went down to the creek and followed it up-tream first, turned back an then down-stream but we didn’t go directly beside it as we usually do but a few steps closer to the forest where an old tractor road used to be.

We went out to the bog later in the day and that’s when the Monster went with us. Everything was fine until we reached where we walks out on the peninsula. Then she suddenly stopped and started to protest loudly. She did the same thing last time she followed us out there. She refused to walk out there with us and kept looking back all the time. I told her that it was a stupid thing to protest so loudly since she then told everyone that a small vulnerable cat was sitting all alone.

She seemed to understand what I meant so she ran to us and walked out to the end of the peninsula 🙂 She climbed up the hunting tower as soon as we got there and didn’t move until we started to walk back homewards again. I have no idea what she was worried about because the dogs didn’t react at all. They did however when we came back to the place where she started to protest, both Alma and Malkolm started to sniff in the air and both looked at the same direction. My guess is that it was wild hogs, we have so many here now that it’s the most logic guess and I doubt that she would react that way if it was a fox.

I have that last cup of tea beside me and earlier I had a few digestives. Normally gluten free digestives taste horrible, sort of bitter, or are so sweet that it’s like eating candy but there is this German, I think, company that makes them really good. They are really small though. half the size but double the price 🙂

Have a great day!
