It was so dark this morning, the rain was falling and I couldn’t see a thing outside the windows when we woke up. I went outside to see if Doris the badger were here and then I let the dogs outside. They barely stayed out long enough to do their business to be honest. I think it was a bit warmer again today but that’s harder to know now since I work in a part of the factory that has no windows.

So I’ve been there for four days and I like the people working there but I really can’t say much more about my job 🙂 They have loads to do at the moment so I’ve mostly been helping with other things, like moving painted parts to carts and grinding the first layer of paint with a grinder. Big heavy things and the thing is that the paint isn’t 100% dry when it comes out after being painted so I’ve mostly tried to lift it all with just the palms of my hand but not gripping the material 🙂 🙂 🙂

I have been painting as well and everything was deemed as ok 🙂 I’ve barely painted on wood before and it behaves a lot different than painting on metal but I’ll manage that too after a while. The big different here is that the paint is dried in very low temperatures, around 30C (86F) instead of the other places I’ve painted at where it needs around 200C (392F). Also they spray cool steam in to the department, it binds the dust and also cools dow the place and the ventilation is amazing! I could say a lot about the ventilation in my old work place (where I also painted, not when working for the county) but amazing isn’t a words I would use 🙂 🙂 🙂

We walked out to the bog when I came home after work. Lots of forest flies to my big surprise but no moose flies. The forest fly season should be over by now but I guess the rain we’ve had lately might have prolonged their season. Well I had my hoodie on so they didn’t bother me that much. It wasn’t until we had come back home and I looked out over the cow pasture that I saw a deer 🙂 I actually couldn’t hear any bigger animals move around at all during our walk, either they’re getting used to us now or they had moved out to the bog instead.

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and I think I’ll have one of the French rolls I baked yesterday. I have some meatballs in the fridge and I bought some beetroot salad on my way home and I think it’ll be really nice if I add some slices tomato and a thin layer of strong cheese as well 🙂

Have a great day!
