They tried again.

The morning was cool and nice but after that it has become warmer and warmer again, still the real heatwave won’t arrive until early next week. The temperatures will rise to around 30C (86F) and possibly a bit higher as well. That’s when I’m so happy about working all mornings cleaning a big pool 🙂 🙂

On my way home my phone suddenly rang and an automated voice said that someone was trying to get 100 000 kronor (around $ 10 000 US) from my bank account via Swish (I think it’s much like Venmo but I’m not sure) and if I didn’t response within an hour it would go through. To be honest that was just stupid since I’ve just gotten a new bank id that I barely remember the code to myself 🙂 🙂 I thought to my self that good luck with that since I don’t have even remotely close to that much money on that account 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m pretty sure something like this will happen again very soon, people like that seems to never give up scamming other people. Just imagine what many good things they would be able to do if they instead tried to help others! After all one has to admire the ingenuity they have to come up with all these things.

Lots of butterflies in the garden but very few flies. I do like that we have very few flies but it shows that something is very wrong, some years were so bad here that it was unpleasant to go outside, mostly because of all biting and blood sucking flying monsters we had. The only horse fly I’ve had around me was down by the pool two mornings ago and that fly is no more 🙂

This one I like, it only shows up when ever I make a new flowerbed. We call this one Soil smoke 🙂
This relative to it however tends to take over and suffocate all other plants. Easy to remove though.
Oxalis!! I got this one as a pot plant many years ago and now it grows everywhere. Edible though so one can have it in salads.

I was lucky to come home just before the ice cream lorry arrived 🙂 So now I have lots of ice cream in my freezer 🙂 I think I’ll have one with that last cup of tea I’ll have after writing here 🙂

No summer without Californian poppies in my garden 🙂

Have a great day!

Once the hackers get a good bite, they seem to keep coming back for more, so they must find some people who do nothing after they’ve been hacked and the account is still ripe to pick further.

My hacker called me on the phone, making my caller ID show my bank, and pretended he was with the “Fraud Department.” He told me someone had bought something at Walmart using Zelle (it’s like Venmo) from my account. Then he transferred me to a “supervisor” who tried to get me to give her the account number on my debit card.

I was believing the story until they asked for information my bank would know. But by then, it was too late and they had already used Zelle to access my account. Then my bank failed to stop it all, and over 4 days of daily transfers they stole a huge sum in ever-larger installments (only reason the account was even fat was because I’d been saving up to pay taxes on my house and business).

It’s true that if these rotten people turned their creativity to something useful, the world would be a much better and safer place.

      Hi catsworking!

They also rely on us becoming so stressed that we stop thinking and just act in a panic mood and they are truly good in doing that!

Thankfully we don’t have property taxes, instead have a fee and it’s really low. They did like that so old people who have been living a long time in an area that suddenly becomes popular would be able to stay and not have to sell because they couldn’t afford to stay due to taxes. This are is not such a place so my fee is really low 🙂 and will be put together with my income tax so I really never have to think about it at all 🙂
