We have a saying here that when the birch leafs are as big as mouse ears it’s time to cut the roses.
So yesterday morning I woke up pretty early and was preparing for going to my health center. I chose that place long ago since it was close to my work place, from here though it’s 50 km (31 mile). I had all the time in the world and was just about to put the necessary papers in my jacket when I noticed that I actually was running late. So I brought the dogs out to the dog house/ yard and drove away. I made it just in time when I realised that I actually didn’t put those papers in my jacket.

So I talked to them and if I drove home to fetch them they would just take my blood when I returned. So back home, throwing treats to the dogs in the dog yard so they could search for every piece while I drove back to the health center again 🙂 🙂 The fun thing was that when I drove the first time I had to pass a tractor pulling a tank with liquid fertiliser in it, so I opened my window and waved at hime since he made it easier for me to pass. On the way back home I passed him again and waved once again. Then of course when I drove back to the health center again he had just refilled the tank so I passed and waved once again 🙂 🙂 I actually met him again when I finally came back home again 🙂 🙂

The thing though was that when I arrived at the health center the second time that had just closed for lunch and wouldn’t open again until 1 pm. I really couldn’t complain about that but felt a bit hungry so I walked down to the pharmacy to see if they had something edible while I waited. They had just closed for lunch when I arrived 🙂 🙂 🙂 Back in the days all You actually could find in a pharmacy here were medicines and special things like toothpaste or plasters, now days they sell all kind of things, like expensive chocolate or chocolate bars. Old times pharmacists are probably rotating in their graves 🙂 🙂 🙂 Well now it’s done and I’ll do the x-ray on Monday and I’ll place the papers I need to bring in my jacket already on Sunday 🙂 🙂 🙂

Today has been rather wonderful, warm and sunny all day with a weak but slightly cool wind blowing. I’ve done some work in the garden, especially at that corner where the big rose stood (well there’s still some left of it but I must most likely remove that as well since they now have decided that that rose is invasive and must be killed. I am still allowed to have them in the garden if I already have them but they are not allowed to spread outside the fence. It, however; is known to do that so I better remove it totally. Too bad because it is a favourite for all pollinators and birds love to eat the seeds during winter. To be honest it is not that invasive here in Sweden more than along the coastline but from what I know it really doesn’t push any other species away so why not let it stay?

Not the best of photos but our squirrels are so shy it’s hard to get a photo at all 🙂
It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and then I’ll see what’s on tv.

I’ve worked really hard to get rid of most of the roots in this area.

And here is the pile of roots and I’m still not finished 🙂
Have a great day!
