Category: Warmish.

There will be photos that were taken today and yesterday.

It has been a couple of calm days here, mostly grey and dull, some rain and even some sunshine, around two minutes of it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

We were lucky that those minutes happened while we were out walking but we need more of it now when days get shorter and it’s still around two more months of that until it finally turns around again. It does however help that I am unemployed because I never had enough daylight when I had a job so I guess that’s positive ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ It was the same last year and to be honest I really didn’t get sick last year so I’m hoping for the same result this year, as soon as that cold that seems to love me finally leaves ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

The hunters were here today and had brought hunting dogs, I didn’t hear a sound from them so I guess that’s why they left early. There has been unusually few deer , hares and other animals around lately and I guess that can have to do with the wolf/ wolves being here. Well I didn’t think we would have a chance to tale a walk in the forest today so I was pretty happy when I noticed that they all had left.

Because of the rain we haven’t been out in the garden much either so I’ve mostly watched the dvd collection of A Town called Eureka and I’ve also been drinking a lot of coffee so it is time to make that cup of tea instead before I continue with watching dvd’s ๐Ÿ™‚

The old rose covered all space behind the chips I made from the branches in my compost grinder, around 4 square meter (I think it’s more or less the same in square yards)

Have a great day!

Grey and dull.

Not the happiest weather today, cloudy and boring when we were out on our morning walk but on the way home the rain arrived and it continued to rain half the day or so. Even though the garden is rather muddy (and also my home) we still need more rain so the groundwater level finally rise to more normal levels. I’ve cleaned the bottom floor so much now that it feels that there isn’t much left of it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve now made an appointment for when my car will go through the annual vehicle inspection, December 29th. We used to have it every twelve month but we’ve it every fourteen month because that what they have down on the continent. I can’t see the logic in that but since we’re member of the EU we do what they do. I usually have it the last day I can because if there’s something that needs to be fixed I have one more month to drive before it is illegal ๐Ÿ™‚ ย I really don’t like to have to do it when it is winter but next year it can be done as late as late February to early March ๐Ÿ™‚ All problems are so much nicer when it is warmer and nicer outdoors ๐Ÿ™‚

It is Persimmon season now and it is one of my favourite fruits. This time however they sold Kaki fruits, a relative to the Persimmon, they taste much the same but You can eat the Kaki even though it isn’t fully ripe. These are always seedless but every now in a blue moon some have a seed in them and I’ve been lucky twice already ๐Ÿ™‚ Both Persimmon and Kaki fruits are just as cranny as Pawpaw seeds to germinate but I’ve done as I always do, put them in a moist paper towel and inside a plastic bag and placed them in the fridge so I’m hoping for good luck. I doubt these will be especially hardy though but I can have them in pots for several years before they grow too big. The problem I can see is that those pots will be nasty heavy and difficult to bring down to the cool cellar during each winter ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

All the chickens have moved, I’ll miss them.

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. I’m thinking of perhaps having an ice cream at the same time but I have already had two today ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

It was at least not raining today.

Waiting for his turn at the bird feeder. The photos will be from both yesterday and today.

I haven’t done much today or yesterday to be honest, well I drove to the store in Kvรคnum and was surprised over how much it costed but I really shouldn’t have because everything is nasty expensive now days. Didn’t think I bought that much but then again I did but a quite big chunk of cheese and Wiener sausages, they do cost more than the others but it is worth it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Also I bought a few batteries and even though they’re not especially big the price on them is so after a while I realised it wasn’t that bad after all ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I have two old dvd players, one that doesn’t open up so I can put a dvd in it and one that do open up but for some reason doesn’t put out the sound when it should so people can talk like crazy but no sound, however it does come after a while at the wrong place ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ So I had bought a new cheap one to replace them. Well something didn’t work as it should on that one either, it might be as simple as something is wrong with the HDMI cable. I’ve tried everything, even the old screen to my last computer. I was in the kitchen when I tried it but nothing happened. So a bit annoyed I ripped out the cable to the screen and would bring it back from where I fetched it. Well I didn’t rip out the right cable so the dvd player fell down on the floor in a quite high speed.

So that one doesn’t work either now ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s when I remembered my old laptops have dvd players so I brought one of them down to the living room and put in a dvd. All worked just fine until it didn’t. So since I now was a bit more annoyed I hit my fist over the laptop and everything stopped and the screen froze ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Nothing worked so since I do need this laptop when I want to write out documents for the road association meetings I shut it off and then on again. Now the dvd player works just as it should and everything else seems to be working fine as well ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

When I was in Kvรคnum I also visited my old work friends and I talked with my old apprentice about that I need to get a banked on my new phone and that’s always tricky as best. so he showed me what to do and that worked so easily that it surprised me, so now I don’t have to worry about the old phone shutting down again because now I have it on my new phone ๐Ÿ™‚ Yesterday we had muggy weather with rain on and off but today the sun shone all day long ๐Ÿ™‚ Also the sun warmed up the cottage so much that I could turn off the radiators ๐Ÿ™‚ The muggy and rainy weather will return again tomorrow though. We do need it but days get so boring when we have to stay indoors all the time, then again I can now watch my dvd’s so that’s better ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I bought all seasons of an old favourite of mine called “A town called Eureka” it has not aged bad at all ๐Ÿ™‚

It is time to give the animals their food and after that I guess I’ll watch a couple of programs on my old laptop ๐Ÿ™‚ Of course I’ll make a pot of tea before I start ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

It has been a meh day weather-wise. The sun didn’t show itself until now when it is about to set for the day. Ok it has been around 10C (50F) all from morning to now so at least there was no need for any radiator to be working.

Malkolm is now refusing to eat anything in the morning but after a walk there’s no problem what so ever to give him the exact same food from my hand ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess this has to do with the chemical neutering slowly is giving up, he’s also normally a sensitive dog but at the moment he’s even more so, so if I sound the least annoyed he looks like the world is ending ๐Ÿ™‚ poor guy. No problem what so ever to eat his food in the afternoons though.

I’ve removed the fence around the vegetable garden now and it looks quite funny with a circle with no vegetation (well there are my tiny leeks, they never grew to anything really since I mistreated them from the start but I can say they taste really good) and a sort of border with higher grass growing around it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll take a photo of it tomorrow. I also moved the chrysanthemums I had planted outside the fence to new and hopefully better places for them climate-wise. They aren’t as hardy as autumn asters are.

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. The sun is down and I can see ground fog slowly flowing out in the pasture I can see from my window here by the computer. They say we’ll have fog again tomorrow and I hope it stay for longer than it did this morning.

Have a great day!

Just an ordinary day.

A really nice day again, chilly and sunny in the early morning and warm and sunny for the rest of the day. We haven’t had any hunters here for two days and that’s very unusual. These guys have two smaller areas to hunt at and since we rarely have any moose here now days (we used to have loads, almost always meeting a moose or two each time we were out walking, then some kind of disease hit the moose and they almost disappeared), so they concentrated more on the other little area.

They’ll be here tomorrow though. Neither they nor I have seen especially much wildlife this year, except for wild hogs but they have caught lots with the wild life cameras they’ve put up, so now we’re all wondering what they do during the days when we’re around. So instead of having a morning walk tomorrow I’ll drive to the supermarket instead on doing that on Sunday and we’ll have our usual afternoon walk and hope the moose flies stays calm, I truly dislike those flies.

So the orange blob didn’t get the peace prize and I wonder why he was the favourite in the betting sites? After all the Norwegian peace prize comity has a back bone that few others have and they don’t give a shit about being pressured by him to give him the prize ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ They would never give a peace prize to someone who has stopped aid to starving people, persecuting immigrants in his own country or threatening his own people with violence under the disguise he wants to stop crime that isn’t there. Also I’ve never heard that they’ve ever given it to a fascist ever. Also the tariffs isn’t helping anyone except for perhaps the billionaires already living in the country, it sure doesn’t help the poor, perhaps someone should tell him that?

Plus the fact that it isn’t peace until it lasted for a longer period of time, just signing a paper makes no peace. Over here it has been calm as always ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s getting dark and the temperature is dropping so I’ve turned on the radiators. This weekend will stay reasonable warm but next week the temperatures will drop below 10C (50F) and even if the sun will be shining a lot according to their guesses it will most likely be cold anyway. So different from spring with that temperature when it suddenly feels nice after the long winter ๐Ÿ™‚

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and I think I’ll warm up the Smรฅlรคndska cheesecake I have in the fridge ๐Ÿ™‚ I better remember to buy a new one when I’m at the store tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll also buy some blue cheese because Malkolm has become a bit picky when it comes to eat breakfast, suddenly he’s not hungry or don’t like the food he gets. Old Nova was much the same all her life and the only thing making her eat breakfast was to put some blue cheese in her food ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ The rest of the day all food goes down though ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve bought so much blue cheese in my life even when I didn’t want any myself, the things we do for our dogs ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

I already have too many seeds for next year :-)

The moon yesterday evening.

It is raining, sort of a nice spring rain. Ok I know it’s autumn but that’s the feeling I get when being outside and not even the dogs seems to dislike it. We walked down to the creek this morning unlike yesterday when we walked out to the bog. It is strange but those moose flies survives lots of night with frost and they love it out by the bog so I didn’t want that to do that mistake again ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve noticed that there are lots fewer moose flies if we walk on the wider gravel roads even though they do sometimes even turn up here in my garden. Also it is seldom that any of them stays close to the creek, I have no idea to why though and it could just be coincidence but it’s like that every year. I think the moose passed just outside the garden yesterday evening because Alma was in guarding mood the entire time we were outside when it started to go dark. I could see some big tracks in the grass just outside my fence. If it had been a wolf she wouldn’t go outside at all ๐Ÿ™‚ and the wild hogs walks closer to the forest on the other side of my home.

Our squirrels are quite shy so it’s always a joy when one can see them.

I always go out on seed sites this time of year and to be honest I already have many more seeds than I can sow next year ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Then however, a couple of days ago I found seeds to something called Litchie tomato. It isn’t a tomato but a relative in the Nightshade family and even though I could see in photos that it must have been made in hell because it has zillions with really sharp small thorns I thought I have to test it ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve now been out on Youtube and watched a few videos and it is clear that it can’t grow in a place I have to pass at all because those spikes will hit me ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Also I’ve learned that it is quite hardy, not that it will survive a winter here but night frost isn’t a problem at all. So it is either growing in the back of the greenhouse or it’ll just grow up there and later planted outside. Anyway it will be fun to try it ๐Ÿ™‚ An odd thing happened when I tried to order it via my phone, for some reason I couldn’t get the seeds I bought by mail? Really strange since those packages I ordered hardly would even be noticed in an ordinary envelope. I could however go and pick it up at the seed firm not too far from where I live. That annoyed me so much that I cancelled the order ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ However I regretted it and did the order via my computer and then I didn’t even get a choice to pick it it, I could only get the seeds by mail ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Thos are the problems we have in the village at the outskirts of the world ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Well it is a long time until spring so I’ll place these seeds together with all the other seeds I already have in a plastic lunch box until it is time to start thinking about it again. It is time to feed the dogs and the monster and I already have a cup of tea by my side. I have caught a small cold, nothing serious just stuffed nose, freezing a little and sneezing a lot ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I still have honey that my old neighbours gave me so I’ll have some of that and hope this will pass quickly even though it isn’t that bad ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

I was a bit stressed today and the wolves have returned they say.

Tomatoes hanging to ripen on both sides of the window.

Really nice day, weather-wise that is, cold in the morning but we’ve had sunshine all day so even if the temperature didn’t sky rocket it still was very pleasant in the garden.

Fir the first time in ages I saw three moose running across the fields, one bull, one cow and one calf.

What did stress me out quite a lot is that my mobile suddenly went in to secure mode so lots of important apps stopped working (oddly enough I still could go in to Bluesky ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ) I don’t know how it is in the rest of the world but over here we need our Bank Id every time we buy anything online or even just need to visit authorities online. So if that doesn’t work (it was shut off by the phone) we can’t do anything really. Also we have a pay system called Swish so we can pay via that in stores or just send over money to other people, could that be the same sort as venmo perhaps?

No matter how I followed instructions the phone just refused to let it go. So I checked online via my computer and then I saw the problem, if the volume button is in any way stuck (mine was since that day I dropped my phone and it hit a stone, so I always had maximum volume ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ) so after spraying 556 and sort of twisting the phone, don’t know how to describe it in another way, the volume button finally loosened up and all apps came back ๐Ÿ™‚ Now however the volume changes depending on what mood the phone is in, sometimes really loud and sometimes no volume at all ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

So with a slight anxiety I went online again and to my favourite site when it comes to used electronics and bought a “new” phone. I really didn’t check what it was but it was the first phone that said it works on 5G ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I went back after and I have bought a Samsung Galaxy 53 and payed with shipping $235 US. A lot of money but still not compared to what any new phone would cost here. It is in pristine condition the ad says and this site has never lied about anything before so I doubt they have started now. Anyhow before all this happened my new hedge trimmer arrived today, not as expensive as the phone but not far behind, arrived today. Not many safety instructions but a few were crystal clear. If one is a pregnant woman, drunk, a child or a mental health patient one isn’t allowed to use the trimmer ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Really where do they get these ideas from? Also shortly after I had ordered it I got a mail where they told me they had approved of me buying one? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Sort of like accepting me in to a cult or a very exclusive club ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Also I haven’t seen the Monsterkitten today and that worries me, she’s usually working like a clock. I do hope she’s just out on an adventure and will come back tonight or tomorrow. The dogs are looking for her as well. I’ve checked that I haven’t locked her in anywhere and also been to my neighbours garage just in case she’s been there. They are now saying a wolf might hang around here again, my dogs haven’t shown any signs that they’ve noticed any wolves but if we’re unlucky the monster might have met it.

This flower covered the entire flowerbed outside the kitchen and since I didn’t see more than one bumblebee all day I ripped them up. They spread like weeds so I’ll have plenty next year again.
I found three more pots with plants in beneath them today (yesterday I found yet another potted quince seedling) It is two roses and one hardy hibiscus. They are now the first habitants in the greenhouse ๐Ÿ™‚

It is time for a cup of tea and a slice or two from the just out of the oven bread ๐Ÿ™‚ Tonight I’ll nit just check for badgers in the garden, I’ll also check for wolves ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

We didn’t have any walks today the dogs and I. My body is aching everywhere and today was not a day when having dogs pulling the leash would be a good idea ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ (so the photos You see were taken two days ago and perhaps I’ll toss in a photo taken with my analog cameras).

I’m used to pain since I have rheumatism but today is a bit above that ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ It is for some reason easier to walk up the stairs than down ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ The weather hasn’t been that wonderful anyway, ok it is wind free and fairly warm or warmish at least but no sunshine.

I didn’t just sit still though, that would only make it worse. Instead I secured the green house for storm winds. I had already bought a set with ground anchors, wires and the small things like screws. The anchors are the kind that one simply screw down in to the ground. The thing was that I only could find three even though I know I should have four. So I walked around looking for it (I have every now and again used them for other things ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ) well while I did that I found a very similar thing, it was for a dog I had and it is a kind of screw that is screwed down in to the ground and one fastens the leash in it.

I never used it though so since it had the same size and works the same way I used it. The problem was that while looking for the fourth anchor I lost the third ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ This is nothing new but sometimes it scares me ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I looked for two hours and just couldn’t find it. So I decided to make a pot of tea and take a small break. I had old tea leafs that I needed to bring to my compost and for some reason I wasn’t surprised to see the anchor lying on the compost ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ So now if a storm comes and the wind actually can reach the green house it should be safe from blowing away ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ at least in theory ๐Ÿ™‚

I also found the holder to the ventilation window, it had fallen down beside the big compost so I could attach that and it was fairly easy. so while I was at it I also fastened the door handle so now I’m done for the moment because I’ve ordered a sort of tent pegs for greenhouses. Amazon had good ones that will be screwed down with the help of a drilling machine. It’s not as if I don’t trust the storm anchors but I only have sand in the ground and it just feels like I would be able to pull them up by hand ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ This was the first time I’ve ordered anything from Amazon and so far so good ๐Ÿ™‚ Amazon isn’t that big over here since we already have many similar sites we rather go to instead.

I hope I’ll be able to have walks tomorrow, if not for any other reason than that the dogs need to be somewhere else than here. It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and later I’ll check what’s on tv.

Have a great day!

First sunshine, then rain and repeat all day.

We had a beautiful sunrise today and I think that have might been the only beautiful thing happening today ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ The rest of the day we’ve been in and out of the cottage. The sun shone and we went out and suddenly rain arrived and we went indoors again ๐Ÿ™‚ We’ve also had a strong wind blowing so even if we were outside while we could see the sun up there in the sky it still wasn’t especially nice.

I had hoped I cut take down the trunks of those plum trees but I really didn’t want to be caught outside with an electric chainsaw with a cord if it rained. So since most machines and tools I own is just the same I really couldn’t do much else either ๐Ÿ™‚ ย So I have mostly, in between going in and out again, sort of half napped in front of the tv ๐Ÿ™‚

Edible and really tasty mushroom.
Don’t eat, You’ll get really sick.

It won’t do much to You but they don’t taste a thing ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m starting planning to bring down some plants down to the cool cellar already, mostly my Peruvian ground cherries, they have lots of small fruits but are far from being ripe and their relatives Tomatillos for the same reason. By the way I’ve never grown or eaten tomatillos but understand that they should be cooked, what do they taste like? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m getting lots of them so it would be sad if the frost takes them before they are ripe.

Never ever eat this one!

Or this one, the Swedish name for it is forest salad or lettuce might be a better word. I doubt You’ll die but …

It’s time for that last cup of tea for the day and I think I’ll eat an ice cream cone with chocolate ice cream. They sell gluten free ones from the ice cream lorry so I bought a package yesterday ๐Ÿ™‚

They are beautiful though!

Have a great day!

Both fog and morning mist.

The morning was really perfect today. It started with rather thick fog but moved in to morning mist when the sun rose just to turn back to fog when the rising fog made clouds so it blocked the sun again ๐Ÿ™‚ Also chilly enough to even keep the moose flies calm. What made it even better was that Alma actually behaved almost the entire walk ๐Ÿ™‚

The sun stayed until just after noon I think it was so I decided I would cut down the other plum tree as well, it never gives more than six or seven plums and always get hit by some kind of disease. I did de-bark in in early spring but it has stayed green all summer so I thought it best to do something about it. I know I now will have lots of root shoots but I’ll deal with them when they arrive. No thorns on this one thankfully ๐Ÿ™‚ There was some damages on those other things living in that area but I think they’ll survive. It was where that plum tree is growing I had my old pond but since the ground now is filled with loads of roots I won’t be able to use it for that any more, I really don’t want to hire a digger to get those out ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I also cut of the top of the thorny wild plum, the strong wind we’ve had today helped me to bring it down ๐Ÿ™‚ I really don’t like cutting dow my trees but there are other trees I can plant there next year instead. ย As long as I keep fertilise the ground all summer, for quite a lot of years, because there will be nothing left when it comes to nutritions for another tree and it can’t be another tree in the same family since diseases easily can stay in the ground and attack the new tree. ย It didn’t take long after that when the rain arrived. Mostly a nice autumn rain but also a couple of heavy showers.

The sun came back after five so I planted the two remaining pawpaw seedlings just behind the Laburnum. It has been very dry there for quite some time but I’ve thinned out the branches a lot so now when it rains it actually reach the ground as well. So cross Your fingers and hold Your thumbs so they survive the coming winter, all five of them ๐Ÿ™‚

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and after that I’ll watch a science program on tv. I think I’ll actually have some ice cream with that tea, orange ice cream with chocolate strings in it ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

A little update.

Just a short one today. The fever goes up and down all the time but it looks like it goes down slightly more that it goes up ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ :-)Feel like sh.t but sleep away most of the day.

Yesterday morning was quite foggy but we had sunshine later in the day.

The dogs behaves amazingly well, before when I was in the sofa normally only one would stay with me and the other would jump to the other sofa. Now they both agree how to squeeze down just beside me, it Geta a bit warm I. can tell You ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

A rainy afternoon and a cloudy day before that but sometimes the sun managed to shine through the clouds when they were a bit thinner, So I sat on the kitchen stairs for a while so the dogs could play in the garden. They do need to get rid of their energy some way and playing is the best I think.

Pawpaw.
Red oak.
Buds on the Laburnum.
Buttercups everywhere now.

I’ll make a pot of tea now and after that I’ll shower my head and neck with cold water and it feels so good afterwards. ย After that I’ll most likely fall asleep with the dogs in the sofa again ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!

I have a cold again.

I think this is a Welsh poppy. It is said to behave like a bad weed but not here. I sow it every year and all I’ve gotten is two or three that usually dies during winter despite it being a perennial.

I always complain about not being able to remember my dreams, I think I’ve done that at 5 times as maximum. However I do remember the dream I had last night and I was so annoyed that I woke up at 4 am and couldn’t fall asleep again ๐Ÿ™‚ I dreamed that there was a tiny black and walking all over my back and when ever I tried to get rid of it it rushed out of reach ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I even tried to squash it by lying down and rub my back towards the bed ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

When I woke up I realised that I now have a cold and a slight fever. Lots of people have it now but it seems to be short lived so my guess is that it’s over by Monday. My entire body hurts, especially my neck and head and since I can’t even eat anti inflammatory pills for children I have to rely on coffee ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve had too much coffee today so all I can do is to wish that it’s over by tomorrow.

If You look carefully You can see the monster climbing in a bush. She tried to surprise a magpie youngling and all magpies just laughed out loud ๐Ÿ™‚

I checked my lottery tickets on Wednesday evening. It is called Lotto and one has to pick to seven numbers out of 35. They’ll also draw four extra numbers that if one has six right and one of the extra numbers one win a bit more. You won’t be rich by having six right and an extra number but You would still be very happy. The big money is in seven right, then it can be millions we’re talking about. Well I got four right and then three of those extra also were my numbers. So technically I had seven right numbers but in the wrong way ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ So instead of millions I won what would be $ 2 US ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ I didn’t even get annoyed, I just laughed out loud ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Rainy day today but we have actually had some sunshine as well. A bit chilly though but I’ve been outside wearing a sweater just so I ย could get some fresh air and feel a bit less sick ๐Ÿ™‚ The dogs and I stayed outside for quite a while yesterday evening. My lilacs have weak branches so when ever it rains they hang down so it is impossible to walk beside them to get around the cottage. So all evening yesterday I pruned away all branches that hangs low. I also cut away those being behind the huge roses and bled quite a lot after that ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ plus I opened up around the Red oak so it gets more light and air. So now it’s like a tunnel behind the roses and both I and the dogs can walk there now ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I can pass without being drenched every time it has rained.
I can also walk where You see Alma.
It continues on the other side of the gate.
It ends in my woodland.
These are the roses from the other side ๐Ÿ™‚ No one can see me from the garden and no one from the road because of the lilacs ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it is time for another cup of coffee but before that I’ll have some honey. I’m so tired right now that I doubt any ย amount of coffee will keep me awake tonight ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day!
