Just an ordinary day.

A really nice day again, chilly and sunny in the early morning and warm and sunny for the rest of the day. We haven’t had any hunters here for two days and that’s very unusual. These guys have two smaller areas to hunt at and since we rarely have any moose here now days (we used to have loads, almost always meeting a moose or two each time we were out walking, then some kind of disease hit the moose and they almost disappeared), so they concentrated more on the other little area.

They’ll be here tomorrow though. Neither they nor I have seen especially much wildlife this year, except for wild hogs but they have caught lots with the wild life cameras they’ve put up, so now we’re all wondering what they do during the days when we’re around. So instead of having a morning walk tomorrow I’ll drive to the supermarket instead on doing that on Sunday and we’ll have our usual afternoon walk and hope the moose flies stays calm, I truly dislike those flies.

So the orange blob didn’t get the peace prize and I wonder why he was the favourite in the betting sites? After all the Norwegian peace prize comity has a back bone that few others have and they don’t give a shit about being pressured by him to give him the prize 🙂 🙂 🙂 They would never give a peace prize to someone who has stopped aid to starving people, persecuting immigrants in his own country or threatening his own people with violence under the disguise he wants to stop crime that isn’t there. Also I’ve never heard that they’ve ever given it to a fascist ever. Also the tariffs isn’t helping anyone except for perhaps the billionaires already living in the country, it sure doesn’t help the poor, perhaps someone should tell him that?

Plus the fact that it isn’t peace until it lasted for a longer period of time, just signing a paper makes no peace. Over here it has been calm as always 🙂 It’s getting dark and the temperature is dropping so I’ve turned on the radiators. This weekend will stay reasonable warm but next week the temperatures will drop below 10C (50F) and even if the sun will be shining a lot according to their guesses it will most likely be cold anyway. So different from spring with that temperature when it suddenly feels nice after the long winter 🙂

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and I think I’ll warm up the Småländska cheesecake I have in the fridge 🙂 I better remember to buy a new one when I’m at the store tomorrow 🙂 I’ll also buy some blue cheese because Malkolm has become a bit picky when it comes to eat breakfast, suddenly he’s not hungry or don’t like the food he gets. Old Nova was much the same all her life and the only thing making her eat breakfast was to put some blue cheese in her food 🙂 🙂 🙂 The rest of the day all food goes down though 🙂 I’ve bought so much blue cheese in my life even when I didn’t want any myself, the things we do for our dogs 🙂 🙂

Have a great day!

Lovely photos of the mist today. You also have the best spider web photos!

How is the new phone? I had that model, which I handed down to my husband. He thinks its not holding a charge as well as it used to. Hopefully it will last him until early next year, at which time I will buy a new phone and give him my current phone, which is only 2 years old. It’s my own upgrade program I devised to justify my getting a new phone. Haha.

      Hi ppekka!

I was surprised to see the mist since there were none when we started our morning walk.

It works really well so the hate towards it has mellowed down to just slight dislike but I guess it won’t be long before I like it 🙂

I rarely change phone since I truly dislike to have to learn how the new one works 🙂 🙂 plus the bankid is so problematic to start all over in the new phone, I’ll drive to the bank with both phones to make them help me fix it 🙂 🙂

lovely diary photos! And yes, dogs and cats run our lives.

I had to look up the cheesecake. I guess it’s traditional. It sounds quite interesting 🤔 and not hard to make.

Time for me to walk the dog and get groceries!

      Hi Carol!

The groceries are bought and since the sun is setting we’ve had our last walk for the day 🙂

I grew up with that kind of cheese cake, I think I was well over thirty before I even learned about the kind You have 🙂 🙂 🙂 I like both but this one is closer to the heart and I’m so glad I found a gluten free one 🙂

Ordinary days are perfectly OK, Christer, and surely very peaceful as well considering the state of world affairs most other days. Great shots of the moon and spider webs, as usual, but my favorites are the mist and the light shining through what looks like a hole in the forest.

Cheesecake and tea sound like a good combo to me.

      Hi Beatrice!

Yes ordinary days are what we want 🙂 Mist and fog can make any photo great to be honest 🙂

It was a really nice combo. I was thinking of buying one today but skipped it, it is too easy to eat too much and then one never wants it again -) 🙂 🙂
