A really nice morning.

So we had a rather cool morning today so the morning walk was totally fly free 🙂 It was only when we were almost at home it became warm enough for the flies to start annoying me. To be honest though, we do have almost alarmingly few flies and mosquitoes this year. You who have followed me for a couple of years now know that I hate flies!! but the birds need them to bring up their babies so therefore I sort of accept that they always will destroy parts of my summer 🙂

The dogs behaved really well the first part of our walk but then the Monster decided that she would follow us and I don’t understand why because she complained the entire walk, especially when the wild hogs showed up 🙂 After that it was impossible to surprise any wild animals because she howled loudly the entire time 🙂 🙂 🙂 That cat sure have resources when it comes to sound loudly 🙂 🙂 She complained when we walked to slow, to fast and wouldn’t care if she wanted to have small adventures beside the gravel road 🙂 🙂

It was a bit too much for the dogs when the wild hogs walked across the roads so after that they decided that pulling the leash so they could follow the pigs was the only way to move forward 🙂 🙂 🙂 Besides that we had a really nice walk 🙂 Very few birds sing now and it’ll become quieter by the day because most have now decided that will not get the chance to lay more eggs after the current babies have grown up so why bother singing? From now on it will be mostly tweeting from the smaller local birds and the magpies are never quiet, I have one outside my window at the moment and I might be able to scare it away for a moment but it’ll soon be back to continue to annoy me 🙂 🙂

I’ve been very busy at work this week and the 50% job I have is almost up at 100% 🙂 So I haven’t been able to go home in between. I’ve been crawling around on the floor on a handball court because they are making a small court for children and I can feel that job in my entire body 🙂 🙂 🙂 Later on I painted the lines I had masked the floor for and it was of course a paint that needs to be strong and strong paints are toxic. No worries for me though because I had the right breathing mask and filters but they bare hard to breathe through when at the same time crawling around on the floor 🙂 🙂

Lots of rain this week as well, so yesterday morning wasn’t too fun to work at the pool 🙂 🙂 especially since the rain was pretty cold 🙂 🙂 We did at least not have the thunder they guessed would show up, I do like thunder but not while I work beside a big pool with water while two electric robot cleans the floors of the pools 🙂 🙂 Now they say that we’ll have thunder tomorrow instead, I hope it arrives after our morning walk so we can enjoy another cool morning without any insects pestering us 🙂

It is time to make a new pot of tea, I’ve already had a pot this morning. We, at least I, didn’t get up until 4:30 am today. The dogs started an hour earlier but I simply refused too get up this time 🙂 I knew that I would feel every fibre in my body after this work week and wanted to delay it for a while 🙂

Have a great day!

The Monster sure is a character! Scaring all the wild creatures takes some doing!

We have a really large patch of fireweed this year, so I’m going to make a batch of tea. There weren’t enough last year, besides they got covered with aphids. Aphids just don’t taste good at all.

Make sure you don’t overwork yourself filling in for everyone else! I am glad you have a job with less toxic exposure than before, though. How are your kidneys?

Our 4th of July was pretty quite, not too many illegal fireworks in neighbors’ yards!

    On to another week!

      Hi Carol!

So right and she gets really annoyed when we don’t want to wait for her to do it 🙂

The same here, I see them everywhere now. Not so many in the garden though, they are pushed out by other stronger plants I’m afraid. Very few aphids so far this year, Last year they were everywhere.

No risk of doing that 🙂 After all I’m new and really don’t know the routines or anything really 🙂 🙂 I do what I can and that’s exactly what they’ve told me to do 🙂
It’s a big difference between the two places thankfully. The coffin factory looked so great until one had worked there for a couple of weeks, it was chaotic 🙂 🙂 🙂 Thankfully this place very different 🙂

It is thankfully forbidden to use fireworks here since there’s cattle walking around outdoors all year round 🙂

Christer, The Monster cat, Sarah, does have quite a large personality and sure makes it known. It seems she is fearless, more so than the dogs😏.Enjoyed seeing all the photos of her today and also the plants and flowers and deer, but could leave the wild hogs behind. We finally are getting some cooler weather after a week of really hot temperatures and rain is finally forecast for tomorrow, finally. Admittedly, I have not been reading a lot of blog posts so missed any in which you told about your new job. I hope it is going well.

      Hi Beatrice!

She’s definitely fearless, just the opposite to the dogs 🙂 🙂 🙂
Well I like to see wild hogs as long as I do it from a big distance 🙂 🙂 They aren’t a favourite animal to be honest 🙂

It’s almost chilly here now but they say a new heatwave is on the way. I do hope it isn’t as bad as the last one though! They show rain on the weather sites but very little of it actually falls around here, the mountain take most of it I think.
      It does go well 🙂

Forgot to ask about the building in the second photo, Christer. Is it on your property and perhaps was once a greenhouse? Also, I went back to re-read previous posts and found out about your current job which seems to be at a recreational place.

That’s actually a neighbours old chicken coop 🙂 It has been empty since they moved away so now flowers grow in there instead 🙂

It’s the county’s public swimming pools, there are a couple more in the county as well. I do however a lot of other things in between my visits to the pool so most days are full of jobs for me to do 🙂
