Cool and rain.

So it has finally cooled down and with that we also got rain. We’ll get lots of it if we’re lucky because no matter how much I dislike rain we do need it now.

I’ve started to work at 6 am now so the pool robot cleaners get enough time to clean up before the pool opens to the public. I’m not even sure if I need to start them tomorrow considering how much it rains πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Nothing much to report otherwise. I almost work full time at the moment, everyone is on vacation so they’ve given me lots of things to do at the same time they tell me not to stress πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Not that I am a person that easily stress at all because a job will always be made better if one takes it easy and slow. In the end that’s the fastest way to do a job.

I’m learning a lot though, tomorrow I’ll paint two new lines on a handball court, two long but thin lines and one is almost a half circle. To paint it will be easy but it took us almost a full day to mask around where the lines will go πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ We had to crawl on our knees and I’ll feel this in my back for a couple of days or so πŸ™‚

Well it is time for that last cup of tea for the day. I skipped it yesterday because I found a bottle with Julmust, a Swedish speciality when it comes to sodas. Tastes something between coca cola, dark beer and Dr Pepper πŸ™‚ one of my favourite sodas, so I drank a lot of that instead πŸ™‚

Have a great day!

I’m trying to imagine the taste of Coke, dark beer, and Dr. Pepper mixed together. I assume Julmust is a dark cola. Is it sweet? Is it something kids would drink, or an adult beverage?

      Hi catsworking!

No I wouldn’t say that, it was invented in the early 1900s to become a substitute for beer because back then lots of people were alcoholics here in Sweden. I don’t think they managed to change anyone to be honest πŸ™‚ but instead it became the most popular soda sold at Christmastime, not even Coca Cola comes close to how much we buy that time of year πŸ™‚

I would say it’s fairly sweet but there are varieties that goes towards a bitter taste. Everyone drinks it here so both πŸ™‚

Here in New England, we have a soda known as Moxie, which isn’t available in every store. It is an unusual taste and has been compared to Dr Pepper but not quite the same and not a favorite of many, but we enjoy it.

      Hi Beatrice!

I had to read about Moxie and it sounds like something I most likely would like πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I doubt however that it ever will find its way over to us πŸ™‚
