Today I got good news :-)

First of all I want to thank those of You who think my little things here on Bluesky is worth reposting.

Thank You !

So last week I went to a city named Borås to check on a job as a painter, both powder and wet paint. The problem is that it takes almost 1 hour and 20 minutes to get there and that’s a bit much. Still the rules says if I want unemployment pay while looking for a job I must go there if they think I might be the one. This was however through a staffing agency and not via the business that wanted to hire someone.

So I drive there and I must say it is most likely one of the prettiest roads I’ve ever driven, it goes up and down and here and there and during summer it’s a wonderful road. During winter it must be a nightmare and not high in priority to be plowed from snow 🙂 The owner had no idea that I lived so far away so even if they thought I would be great for the job they were very hesitant.

The thing is that I at the same time would have a good chance for a job here in the county as a municipal employee, only half time (20 hours a week) and during summer but if one get one foot in when it comes to the county the chance of getting other extra jobs during the rest of the year is quite good 🙂 and also since I know a bit of everything I would be able to help during this time with other parts of what the county needs to do, so the business owner said it’s better if You take that job because it’s just too long to commute.

So if the HR in the county doesn’t argue I’ll be responsible for having one of the county pools clean and running this summer 🙂 plus what ever else I might be able to help with when the pool job is done in the morning 🙂 If everything goes as it should I might be able to start working already on Monday morning. I’ve already been there two days just to see what I liked it and if I would be able to do the job and I really like it 🙂

So we had our morning walk a bit late today but since the weather was nice and it still was a bit cool in the shadows we had a really nice walk. Didn’t see any animals besides birds. Lots of clouds in the sky but lots of sunshine all through the day. 19C (66,2F) and very little wind. So after the walk I repotted a couple of black currant twigs, well one red currant as well. They are the easiest bushes to propagate. Cut a twig, put it in some soil, water some and voila You have a new currant bush 🙂 I also repotted some other seedlings in slightly bigger pots. If You’re repotting something don’t do it in a much bigger pot but in a just slightly bigger one because it takes such a long time for the plant to fill up that soil so it actually becomes bad soil.

As You can see I’m not especially hard on removing flowers called weeds.

So hold Your thumbs and cross Your fingers for good luck and that the HR is happy with me cleaning the pool 🙂 It is time for that last cup of tea and I really should bake some bread but I don’t have the energy to do it 🙂

Have a great day!

I had bought a couple of Pack choi and there were actually a few roots growing out from them, so now they grow in pots in my greenhouse 🙂
