Looks like most rain today will miss the village.

The last of my tulips to flower.

No frost in several nights now so I’ll skip the covering of the plants in the greenhouse now. I moved out almost all the seedlings I have had in the windows here so I really hope that they’re right when they’re guessing it will stay above 0C (32F) during nights. I also planted three of my tomato plants in the ground behind the greenhouse but I covered them as soon as I had finished planting them, the sun is just as good in killing plants as the cold is.

Most clouds had flown away just as we went out on our morning walk. Birds singing everywhere, deer running away from us and a Hare crossed our path so the dogs became a bit too excited. It was really nice even though all vegetation was dripping of water and my boots were soaked and later on my socks 🙂

Wind later in the day brought dark grey clouds but most of the rain missed us, I could see it falling both south and north of us but most of it stayed away from this village. The rain we did get can as best be described as intense drizzle 🙂

I’m waiting for a letter that never seems to arrive, I’ve waited for it for over a week and a half. Baskin the days this would have been alarming because the post was always delivered in time, now days we’re happy if we’ll get it at all. I did get something though, from the police. At first I thought it might be a speeding ticket because I did the genius thing to drive pass a slow going car just in front of a speeding camera 🙂 🙂 But it is actually a survey about how worried I am about violence in the area I live and if I feel safe or not. I’ve never felt unsafe here and that could be because no one ever comes to this village and even if they did not even a gps seems to be able to get them to my cottage 🙂 🙂 🙂

Anyway, I took a few photos of the cats living up on the farm, mostly kittens but one or two adult cats as well. I must say I was impressed by the dogs not reacting especially much but perhaps there was just so many that they didn’t know what to do 🙂

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. Tonight’s the Eurovision Song Contest and so far, from the little I looked at the semi finals, I’ve disliked most of the songs (even our own 🙂 ) So I’ll watch until I’m too tired but I doubt I’ll see the voting. France never have boring songs so I’m hoping they’ll win 🙂

I was surprised to see this one lying almost beside my feet, not even the dogs had noticed it 🙂

Have a great day!

Do you think MonsterKitten is related to those other cats?

      Hi ppekka!

Yes I’mm 100% sure. especially since there’s one that looks almost identical to her.
So these are just a few of the cats living there and they all are the reason we don’t have especially many rats here, mice yes but no rats 🙂

Has MonsterKitten walked over there and visited them?

      Hi ppekka!

Yes she’s there every now and again but from what I can see she prefers to stay closer to the cottage or towards the forest.

Since Sarah left as a kitten and grew up somewhere else, these cats even if related probably consider her an intruder on their territory because she doesn’t have the group’s smell. They may be OK with her stopping by to say hello, but it’s doubtful they’d be friends. Sarah has her own territory elsewhere.

And since she was raised by dogs, Sarah probably prefers their company because it’s what she knows, and she feels safer with them than with other cats. If she were ever attacked, I wouldn’t be surprised if the dogs came to her rescue. They’re a pack.

      Hi catsworking!

Normally I would agree but there are so many cats around here that they must have overlapping territories. So there isn’t any fights between most cats either. They followed cats in London I think it was with GPS and all cats different territories overlapped and it looks as if the cats just stayed out of each others way, out on different hours and therefore everything worked well between them 🙂

Yes she sort of is half dog 🙂 and yes they would 🙂
