Very little has happened these last days and that’s how it should be πŸ™‚ The weather has changed loads of time, lots of just cloudy, a fair amount of sunshine and some rain as well, especially today will be rainy, they’re guessing it will rain all day long.

The dogs just look at me when I open the door for them to go outside πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ The little monster however will not be stopped by some rain, my guess is that she’ll go straight to the woodshed because she’s rarely especially wet when she comes back home again.

We have been lucky with the weather when we’ve had our walks though and yesterday morning was so chilly that I could see frost on the ground here and there. So no moose flies to deal with πŸ™‚ It should be the end of their season anyway so from now on I shouldn’t have to wear the hoodie to avoid getting those nasty flies walking in my hair. It is a horrible feeling to wake up to at night πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Today I’ll go to a job interview. The job is in a town called SkΓΆvde but the interview will happen in another town called LidkΓΆping. Apparently they have two factories (I’m not sure it should be called a factory but I don’t have a better word for it), the job is about sanding objects before it is going to be painted and eventually later on also paint the things. To be honest I have no idea what kind of things we’re talking about but a job is a job and since I don’t tend to win the lottery I hope I’ll get this job πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I have come to like staying at home all day though πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ but getting payed is better than hoping for that lottery winning after all πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ This time at home have however made me realise that I will love to retire when that day comes πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I haven’t had any tea yet so I better make some before it is time to drive to that job interview. Since the weather is like it is I guess I’l spend the time until then in front of the tv or perhaps watch an episode or two of a Town called Eureka πŸ™‚

Have a great day!

  1. Good luck on the job interview, Christer, and from your description of the work, it sounds similar to your previous job. You are right that staying home and not going to work is good as we really have been enjoying retirement for many yearsπŸ˜€. We just returned from our Portugal adventure this week and now I have a lot of catching up at home and in blog-land.

We were on the go so much that trying to post and read other blogs was difficult. There is no such thing as relaxing when with a tour group and trying to see so many new things in only 8-9 days with a lot of walking and time on a tour bus😏.

The fall foliage and spider webs were lovely, as always, and Sara is now all grown up to cat-hood!

    1. Hi Beatrice!

Thank You and it did feel good after the interview. He’ll call no matter if I got the job or not when he has decided who will get the job. Can’t remember when the job ad would be taken down though so it might take a while.

So what did You like Portugal? My favourite country to visit because I’ve never met more polite people in my life.
Lots to see in Portugal so I can imagine how busy You were πŸ™‚

She is but still rather small to be honest.

      1. I hope you do get that call soon, Christer. Yes, we did enjoy our trip to Portugal but as it was a tour, we were kept busy every day and the downsides were a lot of time on the tour bus and also changing hotels often. We did find the people very friendly, but the language seems more difficult than Spanish.

      2. Hi Beatrice!

The work ad is up until November 21 so My guess is that no call will come until after that date. So I can continue to enjoy my days here at home for a few more weeks before I’ll know if I get it or not πŸ™‚

Portuguese is horribly hard to learn and it doesn’t help much to know Spanish if going there unless it’s close to the Spanish border I’m afraid.
Yes lots of time on a bus can be a bit dampening to be honest, no matter how comfortable they are.

Thank You and it did feel good after leaving the interview πŸ™‚
I’m pretty sure You’re right about that because it isn’t a factory or a garage.

I’m glad You like them πŸ™‚

He’ll call me when they have decided but I don’t know when the will take down the job ad so it might take a while. I’ll enjoy every day at home while waiting though πŸ™‚

  2. Hope you get the job, Christer. A paycheck is always a wonderful thing to have.

LidkΓΆping sounded familiar. I think you’ve mentioned the grocer store there?

Sarah really does have a lovely coat pattern. The red collar goes well with her.

The weather here has cooled and it mizzled all day. Tonight it will just outright pour rain. It’s okay. We need it.

    1. Hi Caryn!

      Thank You πŸ™‚

That’s where I quite often have my x-rays done and I’ll go there again in late November when they’re doing the 12 year check up on my right hip.

Yes it is and I liked this place and the one in SkΓΆvde he said looked much the same so I do hope that if I don’t win the lottery until I get an answer from him I get that job πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Yes the red goes well with her but it is time to get a new one because it’s pretty worn out by now πŸ™‚ I’ll go for red again if it is possible πŸ™‚

Same here we do need the rain but it is still pretty boring when it falls all day πŸ™‚
