I also found my grass trimmer :-)

Cool and nice morning today. It had rained some during the night but it didn’t make any difference, the ground is still bone dry. I made a quick trip to the supermarket, just to buy a few things I might need over the weekend. I had a list, followed it but still came home with loads of things, like canned fruit 🙂 🙂 So the trip that would go fast and not cost too much became just the opposite 🙂 🙂

My little meadow is still rather full of flowers.
They started showing late but now I have plenty of them, the California poppy.
The pile is gone, only a few that were too big is left.

My hands have lots of small cuts and they hurt because I forgot how many branches from the wild roses I had put in that other pile of branches 🙂 🙂 🙂 but now I’ve worked through both piles. It was the same with this one, lots of rather old half rotten left and those can easily be handled with the lawn mower. I also found my old grass trimmer in the patio 🙂 🙂 I didn’t have to do anything with it, it just started and worked perfect. The first thing I did with it was to trim away lots of stinging nettles 🙂

Besides this I’ve done very little today, I didn’t even do the laundry I had planned to because the compost grinding too much longer than I thought. I can do that tomorrow if they’re guessing on the weather is right, rain all day as best or very little some of the time as it looks right now. It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and after that I’ll take a look on what’s on tv tonight, I think it’s Death in Paradise tonight 🙂

    I got your email about FB just now. You should probably try to find out if you have been hacked just to be sure. I did get some notifications from you earlier this morning but I didn’t know that you were supposed to be persona non grata so I didn’t check the times. I’m worried that I won’t be able to comment here because you aren’t on FB anymore.

    That’s funny about your grass clippers hiding on the patio. And amazingly fortunate that they just started right up. I lost an iPod mini years ago and just found it again this year. It booted right up and played some tunes. 😀 Too bad other things aren’t so sturdy.

    It’s a cool day here. Almost autumnal.

    Sarah looks great in that color.

      Well they have removed my entire profile so that would be a tricky thing to do and if it is hijacked they have no use of it now anyway 🙂 🙂 🙂

      I thought they all were hiding in the woodshed 🙂 Everything has been beneath a roof the entire time so I guess that’s what saved them all.
      I guess they made the battery better, at least on Yours (but I do have two laptops I barely start now days) because they used to die if one didn’t charge them regularly 🙂

      I’m on Bluesy as @rcolof.bsky.social‬ and I post my blog there every time I write something (and the times I post photos of the dogs and monsterkitten) 🙂 🙂

    I don’t believe this. Another TV show. Just about two weeks ago I discovered Death in Paradise and started taping shows to watch. It caught my eye because Seasons 1-3 had the actor Ben Miller as the detective and I like him from a few episodes he did of Doc Martin and a show he now stars in called Professor T.

    But so far they haven’t shown any of those original Deaths, so I’ve been seeing the newer detectives, and I like them as well.

    I’ve spent a lot of time in the Caribbean, so the tropical setting (Guadeloupe I think is where they filmed) reminds me of islands I’ve visited many times. Also, the murders always tend to be more complicated than American shows, so I enjoy the twists.

      I’ve tried to follow it from the beginning but they tend to show it late here so sometimes I’ve chosen sleep instead 🙂

      I have liked them all but this last one is really good, he normally plays tough guys and this one is sort of towards that direction and quite obnoxious some times 🙂 🙂 🙂
