Nothing happened here the previous two days so I really had nothing to write about. We had some snow, it melted away, then we had some rain and today we finally had some fog. Only one problem, I missed most of it.
I was just going to apply to a couple of job ads, no big to be honest. The little problem I had was that no matter what kind of document I tried to save it in no site excepted it, not even as a pdf?! I was trying well over an hour seeing how the fog became weaker and weaker. I was so desperate that I finally called one of the bigger companies telling what I had tried and all versions Id tried as well. They were really confused because all versions I’d tried were accepted.
Then they asked me what browser I used and I said Safari and they said oh 🙂 🙂 🙂 Do it via Google Chrome and it’ll work. So then I needed to find chrome in my computer which the computer said I would have and showed what keys I should press to get there. The problem is that I have a keyboard for pc but adapted to Mac, so those hints didn’t help much 🙂 🙂 🙂 So I had to download it from the net instead 🙂 🙂 🙂 Another fun thing that happened was that My keyboard then changed from a Swedish keyboard to a British English one. So suddenly three of the letters in our alphabet suddenly didn’t work 🙂 🙂 🙂 That one was easy to fix though 🙂 🙂
Well all is fine in the end besides that I missed the best fog 🙂 Alma was nothing but good the first two hundred meters (no big difference in yards) but then she finally calmed down and we did have a nice walk in the end. I heard one bid sing the entire time and oddly enough it was a spring song. Even though this bird starts earlier than the others it still should wait until late February. I must say it did sound so wonderful hearing it though even if I know spring still is far away for us up here in the north. It is time for that last cup of tea and after that I’ll most likely read a book 🙂

I’ve run into that browser problem. It was with my bank. Nothing was working on their website, so I called and they asked which browser I use. It was Mozilla Firefox. They said, “Our site only works with Chrome.” So now I switch to Chrome to do any banking. I’ve run into similar problems on other sites as well. I chalk it up to sloppy programming on the site owner’s part.
I’ve been using my phone to use the Duolingo app to learn French. It changes my keyboard to French, so instead of the English QWERTY on the top, the French keyboard is AZERTY, which rearranges several letters all over.
I don’t even notice when the French keyboard stays on when I’m typing a text in English because I’m slow at texting anyway. But now sometimes when I’m texting in English, the phone is autocorrecting my words to French.
Computers, what would we do without them? We’d all have lower blood pressure, probably.

I’ve had that problem with the bank as well but that was so long ago that I had forgotten it, however here was Fox ok but not Opera as I had. So I do like You, have Google chrome as the one I go to the bank with 🙂
We do use our three extra letters quite a lot so before I realised what had happened I filled every letter that was wrong 🙂 🙂 🙂 So far autocorrect has left translations alone but it is good to know it can happen 🙂 🙂 🙂

Darn computers!
It was a very spring-like day here with birds chirping. But it seems we haven’t really had winter yet. We are in desperate need of a lot of snow or rain.

Sounds like you are having some learning curve issues with your computer! Meanwhile, your photos are so nice. I especially like the lichen. We actually had a splatter of wet now today and a promise of more over the next few days, so I may be doing some photography of snowy gardens!

We were supposed to have snow now in the morning but it seems to have missed us and I don’t mind the least 🙂 but even I must admit that snow makes things look nicer 🙂
