It is getting warmer by the minute now and strong warm winds helps to melt away the snow. The only thing I’ll miss from this is how clean the floors have been 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m never in a hurry when coming to put up or install new things in my home, in fact people who knows me are more stressed than I ever can become 🙂 🙂 🙂 My brother has been nagging me to put up and install my “new” computer lately but I haven’t really found and place where it can stand safely from being tossed down by a monster kitten. Today I did however decided that it most likely will stand pretty safe beside the old computer. So there wasn’t much to do to be honest, plug in the power cord, the mouse and new keyboard. Then I started to look for the power button and I looked for quite some time and did press my finger toward something that could be it but nothing happened 🙂 so I had to go out on the net on my old computer to find how to start an iMac 🙂 🙂 🙂 It was that one I had pressed on but not hard enough 🙂 🙂 🙂

It started to install itself but why do they need answers to all these questions? I mean it is even worse when it comes to PC but still! Fortunately one can skip until later but sooner or later those questions will pop up again, on my old one they tend to pop up every second week, shouldn’t they have understood by now that I won’t answer them? Now after a lot of skipping questions I can use it. First however I’ll drive my brother nuts by not using it until I’ve figured out how to install an antivirus program I have from my internet delivery/ phone company and since I won’t stress anything I’ll most likely take few days to do that 🙂 To be honest I’ll just log in to the phone company and down load it and that’s it but it’s a bit fun to stress my brother. I don’t know much about computers but my brother knows even less and he’s thinking of a Mac as well and hope I’ll help him later on 🙂 🙂 🙂

We had a rather nice morning walk but the weather was a bit sad, the sky was so grey that it managed to depress us all 🙂 🙂 Today however Alma managed to stay quiet almost the entire walk but then again the pulling was really bad but I’m happy with struggling with one thing at a time 🙂 It is time for that last cup of tea and then some tv watching. First I’ll watch a science program and after that I’ll most likely start watching our Oscars’ Guldbaggegalan or in English The Golden Beetle Gala.

Have a great day!

i can sympathise with you about apple products. a friend of mine gave me her old iphone when she upgraded to a newer one. (i just wanted it for the camera.) it was confusing trying to figure it out. it took me a couple of days.
i love the photo of the bare branch with the water droplets on it, and other blurry branches in the background. when i was little we refered to them as “trees full of lights”.
love the photo of sara and the dogs. they look so cozy and happy. the photo really shows off her beautiful markings. 💖🐾🕊

Hi mandolin mama!
Yes their phones are absolutely impossible when one is used to android phones 🙂 🙂 but their cameras are really good! Thankfully I do have an ipad so that helps a lot even though they aren’t exactly alike.
What a nice name! I’ll use that myself from now 🙂 Sometimes those droplets have different colors but it is really difficult to capture those colors, I have realized that if the photo is slightly out of focus the colors shows 🙂 No such luck yesterday though.
That little monster cat sure had luck when getting her colors. It looks like it’s black but is actually more towards brown but that only shows in sunlight.
They were cozy at that moment 🙂 🙂 Then Sara decided to stir things up again 🙂 🙂 🙂

I commented on Facebook but I came here to see the photos better. You install the Mac in English? Pretty good. English is my first language and I sometimes have trouble installing stuff. Of course some of that might be the fault of the Mac.
Was everybody cuddled up on that couch? They look very warm and comfy.

Hi Caryn!
For some reason the computer decided to install in British English but also in some parts Swedish 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’m not sure why but it told me my standard languages would be Swedish and British English and who am I to disagree, I just want to be friends with it 🙂 🙂 🙂 It went much smoother than I thought it would, now I have other problems that really has anything to do with the Mac itself.
Yes for a short while, then the monster kitten decided to stir up things 🙂 🙂 🙂

My PC laptop crashed last year and I ended up upgrading it from Windows 10 to Windows 11 when I recovered it. I don’t notice much difference, although I’d read that 11 was drastically different from 10.
I also have a desktop PC that’s now telling me it’s “ineligible” to upgrade to Windows 11 for some reason, and support for Windows 10 ends in October, so… What? My PC becomes useless? Or I use it until some virus crashes Windows 10 to smithereens?
What I don’t appreciate is a threat to buy the latest and greatest, or else.
When these computers die, my next computer, either laptop or desktop, will be a Mac. Microsoft has always been horrible. It spawned another whole industry built around helping people deal with their everlasting Windows problems.
I have an iPhone and two iPads, and none of them play the silly games around the operating system that Microsoft does with Windows. They upgrade pretty quickly and don’t make a big fuss about it.

Hi catsworking!
I’ve also heard that about Windows 11 but I think that unless You work with Your computer You won’t notice much.
No Your computer isn’t useless thankfully, it will continue to work as usual but there are no safety updates which can mean Your computer will be easier to put viruses in but then again if You have a good anti virus program I doubt much will happen there anyway 🙂
I’m just the same, I don’t react well to any kind of threats how small they may be!That’s why I bought my used one. I’ve been buying from the same company that restores older ones (and phones) for many years now 🙂
I’ve always had PC because that was what I could afford but I also have an iPad and iPhone(also bought from the same company). The iPad took some time to like abut I never even came close to like the phone 🙂 🙂 🙂

I always had Android phones until my last Motorola G (I think it was). That phone was loaded with Google apps to the point that it didn’t have enough memory for what I wanted on it. So, I bought extra memory, but the apps wouldn’t move over to it. And they wouldn’t delete. I remember Korean was one of them. Nothing against Koreans, but I don’t know any Korean people, I don’t speak it, never will, and don’t need an app for it.
So, to get Google off my phone, I bought my first iPhone. I got the SE, which is the cheapo model that doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. To me it’s just like the iPad only smaller. I’ll never go back to Android.

Hi catsworking!
I’ve had Samsung phones lately and I was actually able to remove Facebook and a couple more, I guess that can vary between phones though. That must have been so annoying!
Korean isn’t one of those languages I would ever learn either together with most other languages to be honest 🙂 🙂 🙂
Cheap models are usually the best, they don’t come with a lot of crap, if one wants it one has to get it oneself. I once had a Huawei, came with almost no apps and was probably the best phone I’ve ever had 🙂
