The sun is slowly rising.

Very windy here again but we had sunshine for quite some time and the temperature was at least above freezing. We walked down to the creek because I wanted to see if I could find where they had cut down trees. We walked up-stream and they had thinned out the smaller trees that grew along the creek but they must have been elsewhere too because the sound they make while working kept on for much longer than what these few trees could demand.

Still some time before I can see it.

In one way I don’t like it when they do like this along the creeks here but then again it is most likely some rule/law they follow by doing it. Also now it’s much easier to take photos of the creek up there too πŸ™‚ A while ago they put up a caravan, well that’s not the right name for it, it’s green and looks like one of those green barracks they have by construction sites. There’s three holes on one side of it and three hunters can sit in it at the same time. They have also put up a feeding station around 20 meters (much the same in yards) away from it, I guess it’s for when they hunt wild hogs. It doesn’t seem especially sporty having it that close but we do have lots of hogs here now.

Alma behaved rather well today, Just a little whining and the occasional husky talk, that’s odd because there’s no husky in her πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ She did pull the leash too much but I’ll take one battle at the time, to fight both her loud whining/shouting and pulling the leash is a bit to much πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Unfortunately when she pulls the leash Malkolm starts to do the same but he’s easier to communicate to. He follows every track he can and gets a bit exited so he forgets that he actually can follow tracks even if he walks calmly πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

The dogs and the little monster has been playing all over the cottage today, they’ve been running up and down the stairs, having fights in my bed (I still haven’t checked how it looks there now πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ ) and Sara the monster cat has followed me down to the cool cellar and always refused to come back up to the kitchen at the same time I me. Normally it takes two minutes before she starts to scream behind the door but sometimes up to half an hour πŸ™‚ I forgot about it when we had our morning walk so she must have been sitting there for one and a half hour πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Back in the days when the dogs living with me and were quiet dogs on our walks πŸ™‚ We sometimes surprised deer sleeping here in the sunshine. They all knew these dogs so they rarely bothered to move when they noticed us πŸ™‚

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day. Nothing to watch on tv I’m afraid but I do have lots of dvd’s I haven’t looked at yet. I always buy a few just to have when we have days there isn’t anything to watch on tv (and no I don’t stream), the problem is that I always forget about them πŸ™‚ Good thing to have at Christmas though πŸ™‚

Have a great day!

    1. Hi Beatrice!

      1. It’s so nice to be back, Christer, and glad I found the blog link, again. It was nice to read that you check out our blog, as well. Sorry about not being able to comment as remembering passwords can be so difficult and frustrating too. Perhaps in time, you will get a new one. Meanwhile, I will continue to check your blog as often as possible, most likely not daily, as you and others post more often than myself. But, I so enjiy seeing the photos of your surroundings and the pets. Sara is very cute too and hopefully all the oets get along, mostly. By the way did you retire?

      2. Hi Beatrice!

        I’m glad You’re back πŸ™‚

Lots has happened but everything is still the same πŸ™‚ She is cute and a little monster πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I found her in the middle of nowhere and she was quite sick so now she lives here πŸ™‚
I haven’t retired I’m afraid, I was forced to quit my job because I can’t work from 4:25 pm to 3 am and to come out of it as good as I could I had to quit. It really was that the former CEO’s son dislikes me a lot because I was the only one that weren’t afraid of him and He knew I thought he is an idiot. So he forced me to go but then again the new CEO pushed him down the ladder a few weeks after I had left. It isn’t for nothing that he’s called a psychopath amongst most people working there. So since the economy is bad and lots of companies are falling I suspect I’ll be unemployed during winter.

      3. Ok I just read this answer to my question that I had asked again all because i did not check here. Sorry about you being forced to quit because of those hours. Maybe there’s a chance that in the future you could go back if that former CEO’s son is gone. Being unemployed during winter isn’t the worst thing!

Nice that you took in that kitten because she is beautiful.

      4. Hi Beatrice!

Well their idea to start a second shift failed something enormous πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ They are now back to only daytime and the leaders are now asking everyone if they can take the entire holiday time off, that means they’ll get 17 days off during christmas and new year all the way to January 7th. I didn’t know a kitten so young could scream that loud! Good that she could because we heard her from a long distance so if she had been quieter we would have missed her.

  2. Lovely to read about your walks in your woods. Three weeks until the days start growing longer again. Baking bread today, so the house will be full of good smells later. Stay safe and warm. John

    1. Hi Inspiredbyo!

It feels so good to know only three weeks more πŸ™‚
I baked bread yesterday and sometimes I feel the smell is better than the bread itself πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ The taste was really good but the dough sort of slid out towards the sides instead of rising so it’s rather thin but very wide πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
