So today we had to part ways.

So today I had to say farewell to Nova. She was never the one to give up but today she finally had to. Not bad hanging around for over 18 years though and even though this was expected

I’ll take a few days off now but will soon be back again..

  1. I’m so sorry to hear this, C. Eighteen years is certainly a good innings and Nova was well loved and had a happy life with you ….but I know this is no consolation right now 😢🌹

  2. i’m so very sorry to read this. It really seems like yesterday that you were bringing her home. You said that she lived a long life, but I know that doesn’t make it easier. In fact I think it hurts more. I am so glad she got to share her life with you and you with her. I’m truly so very sorry my friend. You have my deepest sympathies. xoxo

  3. I have not been good keeping up with you and I’m sorry I have missed so much, but today I had to comment. I have known Nova for years. She was a friend whose life I followed.

I know the pain of losing a best friend. I lost my Gracie when she was 12, and I still miss her. Nova lived such a long life. For that we all can be thankful. I wish there were words to help but in times like this words aren’t enough. Just know I’m thinking about you and sending you our love!

  4. Oh dear Christer, I am so deeply sorry 💔.

Nova had a sad life before meeting you, but with you she must have felt confident and loved.

    Take care.

  5. I’m sorry for your loss of Nova’s dear presence.
What a life she had! I can’t imagine a happier existence for a dog than what you provide there, with your adventurous walks and loving home.
You, Alma, Malkolm, and Sara are in my thoughts during this time of grief and adjustment.
