WordPress have lowered the amount of gigabyte I can use for free, from 3 GB to 1Gb and that would mean I would have to start a new blog so often that I finally caved in and bought more space. Now I have 6GB per year but I’ll have to pay for it. So from now on this is the place I’ll stay at.

We’ve had a cloudy week but rather nice temperatures but since it has been so cloudy I’ve taken very few photos so all photos today are older ones. I would have liked to say that the week has been totally uneventful but that would be to lie a bit π Twice this week I’ve had calls from neighbors telling me that Alma had escaped from the dog yard π π

I have no idea why she does it because she’s miserable when she can’t get back in again π π I do hope I now have secured the fence enough to make it too difficult for her to get out again until I can fix the dogyard properly again. It is a good thing my neighbors like her a lot π π but we are all a bit worried that she might get hit by a car, not many comes here to be honest but if anyone who doesn’t know about her habit of escaping comes here I really don’t want her to be hit by them. A good thing though is that she doesn’t approach strangers.

They are now guessing that it will be really warm towards the end of next week so now people are planning to fill up their outdoor bathtubs and all kinds of things one can do in warm weather. They really shouldn’t since it’s over a week and at best our weather forecasts are slightly worse than bad π π I’ll be happy if the sun shines, if nothing else it at least makes it feel warmer π

Have a great day!
Does Alma have a harness on?

Hi librall!
Do You mean while we’re out walking? Yes but that doesn’t seem to help much and I’m pretty sure that if she’s been leashed to just a collar her neck would have snapped a long time ago π π π
Have a great day!

It’s good that your neighbors know Alma and call you when she’s escaped. Would they be able to get her back in the dog yard or wouldn’t she follow them?
It’s been hot here the last couple of days. Above 80β°F. Way too early for that heat. It’ll break tomorrow and be back in the 60s again. The plants are just rushing to bloom. My little quince bush has 6 flower buds. I hope they hang in there.

Hi Caryn!
Yes that’s sadly true.
I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t follow them and even if she did she would just get out again and feeling miserable because she can’t get in to Albin and Nova π π π
We’re still around 50F here but if they’re guessing right we might get just below 68F by the end of next week but I’ll believe it if it happens π A few more flowers are opening up but the trees and bushes don’t even show buds yet. I do like a long spring but that rarely happens.
Have a great day!

Christer,
Gracie could jump a six foot fence so I had to add wood to the top of it. She never came to me when she escaped, but she did go to strangers so they’d hold her for me. Nala and Henry are not jumpers.
Tonight both dogs are out a long time because it is a fairly warm night. I know they can’t get out of the yard, but I still panic a bit and call for them. They come running and expect a treat so they get one in thanks.
I do love these old photos. The cameras give atmosphere to the view.
Today was not as warm as yesterday, but I did shut off my heat and open windows. I wanted fresh air after having the windows shut all winter. I’m tired of cold.

Hi Kat!
I don’t know how high Alma can jump but I guess it’s somewhere around what Gracie could. She just hasn’t thought of that yet π π
The dogs and I have been outside almost all day, sunny and warm so I’ve even turned off the radiators. I’ll start them again later because we’ll have below 32F temperatures during the night.
It is like watching really old photos even though they are new. I always get a vintage feeling when I look at them π
Have a great day!
