Nothing much is happening here and I doubt it will for quite some time, so I’ve decided to either take a brake until spring some time or stop writing here at all. Not many will miss me because You aren’t that many coming here any more.

      I will most likely write a post during christmas, I have after all two weeks vacation and I hope at least something positive have happened by then 🙂

  2. Hi I read your blog and your walks and your dogs. Nothing much happened but it is like tea and hot toast. Quite nice! Will be sad if you stop writing unless you are really compelled to stop. Cheers.

  3. I will also miss you – I’ve always enjoyed your observations, your terrific photos, your garden and of course your lovely dogs and their different personalities and quirks. I don’t comment very much as I don’t blog myself, so it feels a bit awkward when I have nothing to offer you.

    I hope that you do pop in again. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year and hopefully I will “see” you again once spring arrives.

  4. I’ve stopped reading blogs. I don’t even know why. I mean, now I’ve actually have some time to do so but I just don’t. I don’t do any of the things I told myself I’d do when I became “retired”. But then again I never thought I’d be retired because of stupid cancer. It’s not because I stopped caring about my blogger friends… I just do a little bit of Instagram and that even feels like an effort sometimes. I do post on Facebook, probably because it’s easy to just hit the share button. I hope to get out of this funk. I’ve toyed with starting a new blog… but I don’t know. Maybe come Spring. Maybe we’ll both feel renewed? I just want you to know that I will still consider you my friend who’ve I’ve never met. Someone I’ve lost touch with but is still in my thoughts. Take care of yourself. xoxoxo

  6. Christer,
    Even though I have been bad lately about dropping by I will miss you, a lot. Like you, my blog too has had few visitors. There used to be over a hundred, sometimes even more, but now I get maybe 15 or even fewer. I figure I am writing Coffee for me as well. It is a way for me to remember, to look back at my life. I will miss the dogs and the fun of they adventures. I always figured Nala has a twin. You share a wonderful world with all of us. I’d really hate to lose that world. Take a break but please come back. I promise to be more faithful!!

      Some days I have just two or three but as long as anyone likes to read what I write I’m ok with that. Then again if nothing happens I have very little to write about 🙂 Things will pick up in spring again, I’m pretty sure of that.

        I wrote on Coffee today about my days of nothing happening so we are both suffering from little to write about. I figured I’d write anyway and let everybody suffer with me. I love your pictures of the changing land and of the dogs. When I checked my picture blog, I realized how seldom I add pictures so today I did. I’ll just hold on until spring!

  8. Christer, you have been a blog friend for more years than I can remember and certainly you will be missed as will your photos and pets. It’s true that it’s not always possible for myself (and perhaps others) to read blogs on a daily basis and to comment as well. I was also a daily blogger years ago, but have cut back in recent years. I do not “do” any other social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and many long-time bloggers, like yourself, have become virtual friends. I have missed your comments on our blog, but you previously said you were having some issues.

    You’re not the first blogger to quit blogging. In recent months, there have been several who have abruptly stopped leaving others to wonder if anything has happened to them and while other bloggers have commented, there have been no answers. I even wrote to the home address of one blogger and sent an email with no response received.

    So, thank you, Christer, for letting us know that you have decided to take a break from blogging to not have those of us who do read (and perhaps not always comment) worry that something had happened to you .Perhaps, you will return sometime next year. I will keep your blog listed on my sidebar and check back.
