I’m a bit too tired today. I went up at 3:30 this morning because I started to work an hour and a half earlier than usual. I needed to do some things with the huge washing machine that must be done before the production starts.

The cold is also lingering on, I don’t have any fever but I have no energy and I sweat like a pig as soon as I start working. By the way do pigs sweat? Have no idea really 🙂 🙂 🙂 I think Nova might be allergic to something because her eyes are swollen. She doesn’t seem to care about it and has a healthy appetite but I will keep an eye on her. She might have put her head in to stinging nettles though but I’ll know more if it’s better tomorrow.

Have a great day!
Hi Christer,
Pigs have a few sweat glands but they don’t sweat to cool down. They regulate body temperature metabolically which is a slower than sweating. Something to do with thyroxine production cycles but I forget how it works.
I was up at 3AM this morning after a crazy dream about my bathroom drains. The plumber was here yesterday to unblock the bit of pipe that the pantry and bathroom sink share. In the dream I was pulling laundry out of the toilet. Eww. 😀 But at least I didn’t have to go to work and clean a big washing machine. I chopped some limbs off one of the small black walnuts but I think I’m going to have to have those two on the east side cut down. They’re too close to the house. If I wait until next spring and coppice them, they might grow back and I can keep them to a reasonable height. If they don’t, well, that’s okay though I’ll miss the shade over there.
Hope your cold and Nova’s eye issues resolve quickly.
Have a great day.

Hi Caryn!
I did think it was that way so i wonder how that saying come to be here?
have to admit I laughed out loud about Your dream 🙂 🙂 🙂 I rarely remember my dreams unfortunately.
I’ve just watched some videos that shows tree falling in storms and the damage they do on houses really are bad! With that said, I’ve planted my black walnut way too close to the cottage since I never thought it would survive 🙂 🙂 🙂 Still not going to cut it down until it given me some nuts 🙂 🙂 It actually looks as if it battles the tree cancer really good?! I didn’t think they could do that. Here the lilacs shadows the cottage and they won’t grow any higher thankfully.
Nova does look better today so that’s a good thing but it would be nice to know what caused this.
Have a great day!
Christer.
