I wouldn’t say that a storm passed by today but the wind was hard and it roared when it blew through the forest. My garden was totally wind free because my neighbors cottage took it all and it was surprisingly calm in the forest where we walked, the tree tops swayed but very little reached […]
Sunny and warm today, it did feel like an early summer day with a lukewarm wind blowing as well. I wasn’t sure Nova wanted to follow us on a walk today because yesterday I was pretty sure she wouldn’t last till today. It was tough for her walking up stairs or even get up […]
It’s actually a bit difficult to keep track on what week day it is now day 🙂 I had to check my mobile phone because I wasn’t sure of what day it was today 🙂 In a way that gives a nice feeling 🙂 🙂 We went down to the creek this […]
It’s quiet in my cottage, the dogs and kitten are sleeping and even though the tv is on downstairs I can’t hear it. We went out to the bog this morning and I tried something old with Alma, I thought she has become older so perhaps it will work this time. It is more quiet […]
-3,6C (25,52F) outside this morning according to my thermometer. A tad chilly but since we didn’t have any wind and the sun was rising it didn’t feel that bad. I had hoped that they had removed all cattle from the big field/ pasture but I could see that there was still just as many left […]
Morning mist, then sunshine quickly vaporize it for thick fog to roll in and stay for quite some time just to be replaced by warmish weather and lots of sunshine. I was surprised when the thick fog came because the air had become rather warm by then. It did roll in from the bog though […]
Well none of us slept especially well last night because a certain kitten decided it was fun to terrorize the dogs 🙂 every now and again she also decided to go close to my head and start to sniff all over my face 🙂 🙂 🙂 She’s a little monster that cat 🙂 🙂 🙂 […]
Grey and dull as predicted today and not especially warm, 10C (50F). No wind though so it could have been worse. If this had been in spring time I most likely would have thought this was pretty nice and warm 🙂 🙂 We walked down to the creek instead of the village […]
I just realized that there are no hunters in the forest yet and it’s lunch time now. The sign they always put up is turned to show the back side and if it is no hunting is going on. My guess is that if they come they’ll come around 1pm-2pm. It could also be that […]
It did rain a lot in the early morning and should have continued to do so all day. So no hunters were here in the morning. The raining stopped however and even though we didn’t get any sunshine it still turned out to be a rather nice day. The hunters did arrive later on but […]
Grey and dull here this morning but cool enough to keep any remaining moose flies calm. I hadn’t slept especially well, have no idea why though. Nova needed to go outside at 4 am so we all joined her in to the garden. I really didn’t want to stay awake so we walked to the […]
So I did the same mistake yesterday as I did the last weekend, slept too much 🙂 This time I wasn’t supposed to have any nap but I was sitting in the recliner watching something on tv when Malkolm crawled up on my lap. He is rather big now and quite heavy so I leaned […]
