The frost will arrive tonight.

The feeling on Monday the week I know I’ll also work on Friday is actually far worse than it feels to work on that Friday 🙂 🙂 Still it isn’t fun but when things works as they should it’s quite ok. Still I would rather not have to so I’m holding my thumbs for the lottery today 🙂 🙂

It has been a rather nice day even though a bit too chilly and a storm that arrived yesterday also continued for quite some time today. The winds were north north-western so arctic cold has cooled down our days rather a lot, we’ll have our first frost tonight so the radiators are working downstairs. I’ve also ordered a new radiator because Alma and Albin were playing so wildly one day a couple of weeks ago that the sofa fell straight into the radiator. The plastic “feet” to the radiator broke into thousands of pieces.

I guess I could have tried to just order new “feet”, if that’s even possible but since the radiator hit the floor pretty hard I do want to try it while I am at home to see that the hit hasn’t broken it. It is one of those oil filled ones and since no oil has leaked I’m pretty sure it still is ok and one can never have too many radiators. I have one old radiator left of those who were here when I moved here and one never know for how long that one will keep going.

The morning walk was really nice, despite it being a bit too chilly. The wind was so strong that no insect that values its life would fly around in it 🙂 The sun shone from early morning and did its best to make the day nice but it had huge problems with that 🙂 We walked in the forest though so most of the wind was stopped by the trees. Nova wanted to go out to the bog again but I persuaded her to walk down to the creek and there she could decide whether we should follow it up or down-stream. She chose up-stream and the older forest. We did however go out to the bog in a later walk when the wind had calmed some so she did get her way eventually 🙂

The moose hunt starts tomorrow so we won’t be able to have any walks for most of next week. The hunting leader did however say that there will be times when they won’t be out there and he will text me when that happens. Personally I would have liked to take a walk in the village again but since I’ve never managed to make Albin and Alma behave when they see something moving, like a jogger or biker or a dog that is happy to see them, we really can’t take a walk there any more. Also there’s still cattle in tye huge pasture so we can’t walk there either.

So I can look forward to a week when I don’t have to leave the cottage at all before I go to work every day 🙂 I’ll just relax close to a radiator, perhaps reading a book or so 🙂

Today started rather nice, it was slightly cloudy when I woke up but the sun started to shine between the clouds while we were out walking. Also it was cool enough to keep most mosquitoes and moose flies away and that makes any day a good day 🙂 🙂

I know I can’t have fallen asleep before two am and I woke up at six thirty am and I’m still less tired today than those days I’ve slept around seven to eight hours 🙂 🙂 I know the tiredness will come later but so far it feels pretty good. It si raining now and thunder just passed the village pretty close and I can see that more is on its way. There is at least no risk what so ever that any lightning will manage to start a forest fire, at least one thing we can than all the rian that has been falling for so long now 🙂 🙂 🙂

Also I was thinking of using my new lawn mower for the first time today so I guess I should than the rain for not being able to do that 🙂 🙂 🙂 Today and tomorrow will be a bit cooler but we’ll have more sunshine tomorrow ands no rain, after that it’ll get cooler again but there really is no use in looking at those guessings since they have problems guessing the weather that will happen in two hours 🙂 It does at least look like we won’t have any frost nights the coming ten days. Normally the frost arrives around September sixth but so far it hasn’t even been close to happen.

We’ve had lots of fog during nights though, sometimes I haven’t been able to see the road at all when driving home 🙂 🙂 Deer has probably had a competition about who’s the bravest and can run out in front of my car as close as possible, also a badger must have been competing about that as well. The winner however was a bird that actually was sleeping standing on the road, He can’t even have been more than an inch from getting hit by my car.

The mum I bought. I would rather had bought a rust colored one but this was the one they had 🙂

I managed to get some photos in my garden before the rain and thunder started. Not much in bloom right now. I bought a Chrysanthemum yesterday. I’ve actually only seen this one for sale in the grocery store in Kvänum but they’ve had Asters instead and i didn’t want that. It is the wrong color and filled flowers but I wanted one so I bought it 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’ll plant it in my garden and if winter is mild enough it will survive until next year. It will look quite different (much higher than now) and might not flower in time before frost but I still want to try it. The only problem now is that I really don’t have any space for it 🙂 🙂 🙂

We’ve had a really nice day here today. Yesterday evening I watched when the fog slowly rolled in and became rather thick, all dogs outside in the village was barking like crazy at the time so I think a wolf or a couple must have been walking around here. This morning I woke up just before the fog was disappearing again. After that we’ve mostly had sunshine and a weak wind blowing which made the day rather wonderful.

We walked down to the creek just after the fog had vanished, lots of animals had been running around because the dogs had to sniff all the scents on the ground every second meter or so 🙂 Birds were tweeting but we didn’t see any animals at all. We had come all the way down to the creek and started to follow it up-stream when the dog suddenly walked close together and a bit faster than before.

As You can see no Nova in front of the rest of us, I could see that they weren’t happy about something around us.

They kept on walking like that until we had passed the creek and was on the other side again. I have no idea if wolves were close or not but they must have been there shortly before we arrived. It’s when wolves have been around that is the only time Alma is quiet and actually does what I tell her to do 🙂 🙂 🙂 I did put out the wildlife camera, I hung it on my gate but the only thing it caught was a car and a cat passing twice. Well I’ve just looked at the screen so far, it could have been a fox as well but I’ll know better when I’ve downloaded those photos. I’ll have the camera there again tonight.

Otherwise I’ve had a rather calm day. I took a long nap and after that I mowed the lawn. I think I need to buy a new lawn mower, once again I managed to hit something, this time the teeth of a rake hidden in the high grass 🙂 , so now the rotation disk is so tilted that the entire mower shakes like it has some kind of disease 🙂 🙂 🙂 We have also had our pancake Saturday like always. The dogs get one pancake each and I get the rest that I make 🙂 Today I had apple sauce with my pancakes. I gave my neighbors some of my apples and got a jar with applesauce made from them. Tomorrow I’ll use my new fruit picker so I can reach the bigger apples higher up in the tree. I’ll have some myself but the rest will go to my neighbors. They are the best neighbors one can have 🙂

The sun is setting and it is time for something to eat. The dogs will have their food later tonight, slightly earlier than when they would get it on a work day because if I’m not working it’s impossible for me to stay awake for that long 🙂 🙂

So I’ve survived my first week.

The photos can come from any day this past week.

So I have survived my first week working the evening shift 🙂 To be honest it is the ones one is working with who makes the day bad or good and these people I work with made it good 🙂 The job itself is just as boring or fun no matter what shift one is working even though I really don’t want to work nights ever again.

I’ll be working Monday to Thursday every week and then for some reason they’ve decided that we also must work every other Friday and to make it even better they’ve made that day longer. So I’ll be working one and a half hour more those days. In my opinion that’s a not too smart idea but I’m not the one deciding these things. So yesterday I was quite tired all day and even though I had an almost two hour long nap I still was so tired in the evening that I went to bed earlier than I had planned.

The dogs and I have had some really nice morning walks this week, one of the big plusses about working in the evenings. Later on when the nights are getting so long that they’ll start before 4 pm I still will have those walks in daylight. The dogs have mostly behaved really well but one evening some deer had started to “bark”, they do that when they are warning about dangers. So naturally my dogs had been answering and since they too then must have been warning about something the evening had become pretty lively 🙂 🙂 🙂

Alma also shows how happy she is that I’m at home again by shouting her lungs out 🙂 🙂 🙂 I told her that I really like that she likes me being back again but could she possible be doing that a bit more quiet 🙂 🙂 To my big surprise she is now mostly shouting in either the old garage or in the dog house 🙂 🙂 I’ve also noticed that there is a big space in the big fridge at work so that I can go to the grocery store and buy things that needs to stay cool just before I start to work! That’s a huge plus because I don’t want to have to go grocery shopping either early in the morning at work days or in the weekend.

So so far things work as good as they can. Tomorrow I’ll most likely be a bit late for work because I’m waiting for a package. Originally I was going to get it to the grocerystore in the village where I work but for some reason the mail delivery company decided that no” Either You go and get it at the big office in Falköping or You’ll have to stay at home and sign that You’ve gotten it. The thing (it is one of those things one use to pick fruit high up in the trees) costs less than $ 10US! I’ve had packages delivered to my home (well mostly to my neighbors but they were close enough) costing three times as much and not having to be at home at all. I really don’t understand how they are thinking at Post Nord as the company is called 🙂 🙂 🙂

It is time for a cup of tea and after that perhaps a tiny nap so that I won’t go to bed too early tonight.

Morning mist.

I’m trying to change the hours I’m awake and I must stay up at least two more hours but I’m really tired right now 🙂 That’s why I write this post as late as I can today. We’ve had a rather nice day, chilly morning and with morning mist and sunshine as well. It was actually enough chilly to keep even the mosquitoes calm.

The dogs and I have had our pancake Saturday, I’ve done the laundry and I even made a apple crumble pie. I have loads of apples in the big tree and most of them that hang low are eaten by wasps but I found enough to give to my neighbors and also to make that pie. It was a new recipe and of course gluten free. I would have loved to recommend it but it is actually so sweet that I can’t taste any apple taste in it at all 🙂 🙂 🙂 I love custard though so even if I’ll toss the rest of the pie away tomorrow I still can use the rest of the custard 🙂 🙂 🙂

Two or three nights ago Alma and Albin started to bark like insane while standing (well most likely running and jumping along) the fence. My guess is that it most likely were deer walking on the other side or that it could be badgers. They’ve removed the lynx safe electric fence that was there before so now it’s only the old, rather low fence there again.

So I looked after my new wildlife camera and just couldn’t find it. I looked everywhere, even where I later found it 🙂 🙂 I don’t think my kitchen has been this clean in ages 🙂 🙂 🙂 The camera had slid down from the kitchen table on to a chair and then been covered with a sweatshirt 🙂 🙂 Anyway I’ve now put the camera on the old fence so if I’m lucky I’ll know tomorrow on what walks around in that field at night.

Still one and a half hour left before I can go to bed so I think I’ll play mahjong solitare until it is time.

Wild hogs.

It was a nice and cool morning but those mosquitoes are just awful.

Even though the sun has been shining all morning and that it is fairly warm I still can feel it in the air, autumn has arrived. There’s a sort of bite to the air that I only can feel in autumn. Still the morning walk was really nice even though the mosquitoes doesn’t understand that they now just should fall down to the ground and die 🙂 🙂 🙂

Alma was just as annoying this morning as she was yesterday morning. She were all over the place and in the end she entangled both me and Albin in her leash. Both she and Albin also sniffed in the air all the time. Nova didn’t but instead of walking far ahead of us she walked by our side. I thought it was because I possible had taped her knee in a bad way. As soon as we had come to the long straight road towards the creek she resumed to her normal position, far ahead of us.

I saw something but couldn’t really say what kind of animal it was.

Then a much smaller one came out to the road too. Then I saw the ear of the bigger one.

I didn’t think more of it than that she perhaps didn’t feel that bad in her knee anyway. We walked up-stream the creek but neither her nor I wanted to walk in the high grass and in to the more dense old forest, so instead we went back the same way we came and I thought that we perhaps would walk in the forest where we walk out to the bog. I didn’t look especially much ahead of us but when I did I saw something I first couldn’t figure out what it was, an animal that I could guess but not what.

I think I could see seven or eight piglets.

Turns out that where Nova suddenly walked ahead of us again now stood a rather big wild hog sow 🙂 Thankfully far away from us but I am annoyed at myself for not bringing the right tele photo lens. Then suddenly a piglet came out from the trees and then one more and suddenly I think it was seven or eight piglets in total. This is the moment when Alma actually decides to stand still and be quiet. There’s something with wild hogs that makes her do that, never otherwise but always when we see hogs.

My spring flowering Clematis has restarted 🙂

The Sarracenia sure is slow to open up. I do hope that at least one of the four buds will before frost takes them all.

One can hate or love the Big Dragon flower (Nepeta sibirica) but bees love them and they flower from early summer till frost take them all.

The wild hogs crossed the road and in to the forest where I had hoped we would walk so no chance on doing that 🙂 🙂 I started to talk loudly to the dogs because I didn’t know where the boar could be or if there were more sows waiting to cross the road. Both Alma and Albin did look at the direction they had come from but that doesn’t mean there were any more out there. I don’t really like to come close to wild hogs but it is fun to see them from a safe distance 🙂

No more sightings of hogs though. I took a tour in the garden when when we had come home again. There are still flowers in bloom, even potatoes flower still. This is the time the Hardy Kiwi decided to finally start growing and I do hope it calms down before the frost arrives. I’ve re-potted all but one of my apricot trees and also the cherry plum tree seedlings I have. I’m not sure what to do with those cherry plum seedlings to be honest. I really don’t need any more but have no place to plant them and since they tend to spread like wildfire via their roots I’m not sure I can give them away either. Well I do live beside a forest 🙂 🙂 🙂

I have three Hardy Kiwi vines planted towards the fence around my vegetable garden. They have finally put some speed in their growing.

I managed to break the top of this vine when I tried to pull it through the loops in the fence. I have no idea if the top will grow new roots but I’ve put it in a pot and either it dies or it starts to grow new roots.

The third one is a sad one. It does grow but slowly and when it finally put some speed into it something ate the top of the vine 🙂 🙂

A second harvest and autumn colors.

We haven’t had as much sunshine today as they guessed yesterday but instead it started to rain much earlier 🙂 To be honest it was mostly drizzle but the grass went wet so I decided that I wouldn’t detsroy my day with mowing the lawn 🙂 Also the few flies that still flies around are nasty now and I don’t know what kind is biting but it sure itch a lot afterwards.

We went out to the bog on our morning walk. Nova wanted to walk there yesterday but I managed to make her walk to the part I wanted to walk in 🙂 🙂 Today we went out to where she wanted. Lots of mushrooms everywhere now but I still haven’t picked a single one. I guess I still have plenty of time because the rainy weather will continue for quite a while they’re guessing now. The trees in the bog have started to change colors and it feels like it is a bit too early even for here but it has been quite cold and rainy for quite some time so I guess the trees just thought it was time to give up for the year 🙂

I also found several flower buds on my rhododendron today, I guess for the same reason but it believing we’ve had an unusually mild winter 🙂 🙂 🙂 I guess that it’ll flower in early September, especially if we would get some more warm weather again. It will from now on reach 20C (68F) if they’re guessing right but they seldom do that 🙂 🙂 🙂

I took a look at my cacti that I placed in my apple trees this summer. They all look pretty fine and the Christmas cactus now have small buds 🙂 I also have an orchid hanging out there but that one only flower once every year and just before spring arrives so I won’t know if it liked this or not until then. I did forget to check the ones that grows in my old woodland but I’m pretty sure they like it too. The only problem with hanging all these potted plants in my trees is to remember to bring them indoors again before the frost arrives 🙂 🙂

I have a second harvest of potatoes as well 🙂 I poured out the soil from the second bucket where I planted only the broken off potato sprouts. More in this bucket than in the previous one but not as many as I had last summer. Still I’m quite content as it is because I didn’t have to sacrifice any potatoes to get these, just the broken off sprouts 🙂

My Black walnut is rather big now, higher than my cottage actually.

The English walnut does grow too but I would be surprised and happy if it survives the winter here.

But tiny white ones on my Christmas cactus.

It is time to have a last cup of tea before dozing off in front of the tv. I will not miss anything on tv if I would sleep alla night, I think the quality of the programs they show now days are crap to be honest.

The potato leafs showed it was time to harvest the potatoes.

Back to work again.

It is raining and thunder is closing in as well. We didn’t have any thunder at all when the heatwave was here or when the cold weather started but now we’ve had it several times. I hope it won’t be as bad as it was the last time because it lasted for hours and sometimes the sound just kept on all the time because of all the lightnings 🙂 🙂

We did have a really nice morning and up until just after noon though, mostly sunshine and actually rather warm weather, something we haven’t been spoiled with this vacation. Still I’ve had a really nice vacation and I am so relaxed that it will be hard to start working again tomorrow 🙂 🙂 I’ll have no problems waking up, I’ve woken up the same time I normally do when going to work the entire vacation 🙂 🙂

It was 6C (42,8F) when we went out on our morning walk today, perfect because there were no flies flying around and I only found two ticks in total when I checked the dogs and we had walked in pretty high grass quite a lot. Ticks normally don’t like temperatures around those degrees. The water level is still quite high in the creek and I guess that after these four coming days it will rise even higher, they’re guessing we’ll get up to four inches of rain.

Four days ago I was stung on the backside of my ear by one of the wasps that lived between the roof and ceiling by my entrance door. I did swell a bit but not much, normally I swell like a balloon where I’m stung but I think it hit the cartilage in the ear. My ear has been aching ever since, it isn’t until now that the pain has gone away. It has been itching a lot and the skin started to sort of flake away 🙂 🙂 The ear is still rather warm though but that I can live with 🙂 🙂 It actually took three days until all the wasps were gone. I didn’t think that many actually stayed outdoors during longer periods. There’s still the occasional wasp flying there but they don’t even try to get in any more. I don’t mind wasps as long as they don’t attack me or the dogs, if they do it’s good bye!

It looks like the thunder will continue along the mountain and go north but these last have sounded to be really close even though the lightning apps says different so I better stop for today.

She will become 17 years old next month 🙂

and Alma a bit more than two years old now.

She and Albin loves to eat the Japanese quince fruits. I can’t understand that because they are hard as rocks 🙂 🙂

My first harvest :-)

The weather has been mostly meh today. We had some sunshine in the early morning and about two minutes in the afternoon but it has at least not been raining. That however will change tomorrow evening if they’re guessing right. From Tomorrow evening till Tuesday night, perhaps early Wednesday, we’ll get around 4 inches of rain. I am happy for the rain we’ve gotten but now we need some sunshine and warmer weather so that the fruits will ripen properly and become sweet.

They’ve removed the warnings about low ground water levels now and I haven’t seen so much water in the creek since the snow melted this spring 🙂 🙂 I think these last heavy rainfalls have killed off a lot of flies because I really don’t need to wear my mosquito hat on our walks now. I can’t say I mind especially much but I guess birds still need them so they can build up energy for the move south. Still lots of mosquitoes though so they can fiest on them instead 🙂 🙂

The ice cream van came by today, I missed it the last time because I was in the bathroom and had no chance of getting outside in time 🙂 🙂 Our ice cream vans doesn’t sell individual ice creams but only sell packages of different varieties or mixed boxes with their most popular varieties. I actually don’t know if they’ve ever sold individual cones or popsicles, they did however sell both frozen fish, ready dinners and hamburgers back in the day. I couldn’t see any of that today though. So now I have one box with gluten free cones with chocolate ice cream and one with vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate and crushed almond on sticks. So if I don’t win the lottery today I can at least have some ice cream to comfort myself 🙂 🙂 🙂

Do You remember that I planted those sprouts that broke off when I planted the potatoes in the potato patch? Today I emptied the bucket with just two stalks. Last year I got enough potatoes in each bucket/ pot to last a week but in this one I got enough potatoes for one dinner 🙂 Well first they almost drowned because I had forgotten to make extra holes in the bucket so one shower was enough to fill up the bucket with water. After that the drought came and I forgot to water every now and again so I think this isn’t too bad after all. I do hope for better results in the coming buckets/ pots. This variety of potato is called Asterix.

I think it is time to go downstairs and to have one of those ice creams 🙂 I think I’ll have one of that vanilla with chocolate and crushed almond 🙂

I bought a Mahonia yesterday just because I wanted the plastic pot it was growing in, narrow and deep. I’m now using that pot for one of my Pawpaw (Asimina triloba) seedlings, well it’s just a seed with a tiny root so far. I did want the Mahonia as well because it gives quite tasty berries that both look and taste rather much like blueberries.

The harvest 🙂 🙂 To be honest I did find two more as big as the two smallest in this photo 🙂

No rain today :-)

Rather nice weather today, mixed cloudy and sunny and I think it reached 20C (68F) when it was as warmest. No rain thankfully, the swedish weather site says lots of rain tomorrow while the Norwegian says almost nothing but both says we’ll have sunshine in the afternoon. I trust the Norwegian more than the Swedish one and I hope it’s right because I am beginning to feel tired of the rain now. Not that I would do anything anyway but it is nice to be able to be outside and enjoy the day.

I’ve been busy in between naps today. I’ve mowed the lawn and the grass was so wet that I had to stop and clean it out from the mower all the time. Also the flies were insane so I wore my mosquito hat all the time. I was sure thunder was on the way but so far nothing. I’ve also done some laundry and baked some french rolls.

This time I used milk and butter and they do taste delicious but they didn’t rise especially well. I think it’s because I melted the butter and then pour in the milk to the melted butter. Sometimes when one does like that the fat can sort of embrace the yeast so it can’t do its job properly. Still they are rather light anyway and with melted cheese on them they are delicious 🙂

Besides that nothing much has happened here and since it has been really quiet in the entire village I doubt that anything happened there either 🙂 The last two peach kernels that finally started to germinate are nos showing above the surface in their pots I’ll place them outdoors as soon as they start to grow properly so they at least know that there is an outside world with varying temperatures and humidity. They, like the apricots will later on stay down in my cool cellar and hopefully I won’t kill them during winter 🙂 🙂

It has been really nice here today, mixed cloudy and sunny weather and around 20C (68F). I was a bit annoyed that the only cloud in the sky would cover the sun for most of our morning walk. It wasn’t that big but it just wouldn’t move up there in the sky 🙂 🙂 🙂 Then again it was so cool so not a single fly were out flying 🙂

The hunters have cleared the path that goes along the creek, but to be honest it is a bit early since the Roe deer buck hunt doesn’t start until August sixteenth. Then again they can hunt wild hogs all year round so they might be planning to do that.

I mowed the last grass outside my garden and it was still so full of morning dew that it clogged up the mower several times. I need to mow more often than I do to be honest but even after the rains it didn’t grow much until it suddenly did 🙂 🙂 The grass collector is broken so I had to have the lid open all the time and it opens up at the back, so I was totally covered in grass when I finished 🙂 🙂

I have finally found a recipe for gluten free french rolls that actually is really good! To be honest, they are almost too light and airy inside but they taste delicious! Since there aren’t any fibers that do the job gluten does one has to buy other things to make the dough something similar and I found one last Friday. The dough is really sticky so I learned that it is best to have flour on the hands when trying to make those rolls 🙂 🙂 🙂 I followed the recipe strictly though so I think I can make them even better by switching the water and cooking oil to milk (or perhaps even better sour milk) and butter.

I’ve also napped a lot today, just as I planned I would do during the vacation but to be honest I’m just as tired as before 🙂 🙂 So I’ll have a cup of tea and perhaps another one of those french rolls 🙂 The recipe said it would be fourteen rolls but I only managed to make eight. Next time I’ll see if I can find a recipe for a loaf of bread instead.

Magpies, funny birds but also bl…y annoying 🙂 🙂 🙂 They can terrorize an entire neighborhood and attack cats and dogs and are really intelligent.

The weather has been rather mixed this first week of my vacation. Everything from sunny and hot to a bit chilly and heavy raining. Today is really nice though, mostly sunshine, a nice breeze and around 20C (68F). It was supposed to be like this yesterday but like always our weather service managed to miss that we would have rain almost half the day 🙂 🙂 🙂

The rain started quite nice on Wednesday

Another one on the back by my kitchen door. It needs to be a lot of rain to create a lake there because it’s only sand and runs down through the sand as soon as it hits, normally that it 🙂 🙂

We’ve gotten well over two inches of rain this week and nature loves it. Well I don’t complain about it either to be honest 🙂 Unfortunately the ticks loves it most of all. After every walk I’ve picked over twenty ticks from Alma while the two others have had perhaps five together. I have no idea why Alma is such a tick magnet but they do seem to love her. Nova decided that we should walk along the creek this morning so I was a bit worried that they all would have lots more walking around on them but to my surprise they had just a few, not even Alma had more than six walking around on her.

Yesterday morning felt quite chilly so not a fly was flying around annoying us.

The weather has made it more or less impossible to do anything outside and it has been perfect 🙂 🙂 🙂 I can’t remember when I slept this much before. The heavy rain day I must have slept well over six hours during the day (mostly with the window open so I could hear the rain hit the ground and cottage, until it changed direction and it started to rain in through the window 🙂 🙂 🙂 ) and I still fell asleep at my usual hour and sleeping all night without any problems. I guess I needed it but have no idea why 🙂 🙂

The flies have calmed down because they’ve now cut down all the grass and made silage balls of it. That always happens when they do that so I guess that flies prefer to stay in high grass instead of trees during nights and perhaps even during days and when it’s gone the flies go to? Well there’s plenty still but not near enough to what we had before. I don’t even bring my mosquito hat on our walks, it’s enough with a hoodie. Alma has calmed down even more now, she still pulls the leash but the screaming when seeing anything move is almost gone! So now days we even see the odd deer again, still hares do make her a bit too excited but we’re working on that. The sitting down until she’s calmed down seems to work pretty well 🙂

I’m waiting for the package delivery car to come. I’ve ordered dog food and I have almost no dog food left so these packages will arrive just in time 🙂 🙂 I’ve just recieved a text message that they are on the way. So anytime from now until 5pm I’ll need to stay at home. Just a few weeks back they changed it to that packages below 20Kg ( 44,1 pound) can be delivered without me being at home but above that I need to be at home to recieve it. I’ve just bought a new kind of food for Alma and Nova because they didn’t really like the one I had and they have been a bit wobbly in their stomachs since we started with it. So today I’ll get one package that weighs well over20Kg and one well below. Does that mean they then would deliver the lighter package while bringing back the heavier if I weren’t at home? 🙂 🙂 🙂

Nova can be the most stubborn dog in the world 🙂 🙂 I called for her because she went away on her own and to a road we weren’t going to take. She could hear me very weel and she knows the sign for coming back and she just didn’t give a crap 🙂 🙂 🙂

After around five minutes she slowly came towards us.

Then she stopped again and just stood there for another five minutes 🙂 🙂 🙂 She finally started to walk towards us again but refused to go all the way and instead went to where we were going to walk but through bushes and high grass instead 🙂 🙂 🙂

Not much in bloom in my garden at the moment but the Creeping Bellflower has opened up. It’s voted to be the worst weed one can get in a garden 🙂 🙂 Here it has to fight with other plants almost as bad as itself so it’s no problem here.

A Perennial Sunflower is almost as bad as the bellflower.

The Nepeta sibirica or as its Swedish name is Great Dragon flower can also compete with it.

the Large yellow loosestrife isn’t much weaker.

Hotas are however not a match and would lose the battle fairly quick 🙂
