Category: Sunrise.

Now I know the lawn mower works.

I used to have a really nice woodland in my garden but then dogs used that area to play so lots of plants died. Today I found Trillium leafs so I’ve put up sticks around them so the dogs won’t kill them when they run around there 🙂

We woke up really early today, at 4:10 am. It was already quite bright outside even if the sun wouldn’t rise for another two hours. We went out for our morning walk as soon as the sun started to rise above the horizon and as soon as we stepped outside the clouds arrived and no more sunshine until we came back home when the clouds suddenly vanished 🙂 🙂 🙂

I planted three more Primulas in there as well.
Scilla sibirica is usually blue but every now and again they can give other colours like white but I’ve seen pink as well.

After that the sun has been shining almost all day with a few exceptions when clouds passed by. Still 17C (62,6F) and almost no wind made a perfect day. I sat on the kitchen stairs and had a cup of coffee and Malkolm sat beside me and it was so hot that we had to go indoors for a while 🙂 🙂 So while we were cooling down a bit I did a round of laundry. I’m still a bit behind on that but I’m starting to come closer to just have to do it once a week now. I could of course have done a couple of rounds but I’m in no hurry 🙂

I have actually been quite busy today, beside the laundry I also mowed the lawn!! Not a too tough job since the grass had grown quite unevenly 🙂 I also ripped up more stinging nettle roots, cleaned away more plastic pots and actually also planted one apricot tree and the peach tree. They have been standing in the porch for several day and since they say we won’t have any frost the coming days I just thought I better start planting those trees now or it will not be done. To be honest it is a bit much to call them trees because they are after all only one year old yet and kind of tiny 🙂

Soon all I will have left in the cool cellar will be the citrus trees and if it looks like frost will stay away I’ll bring those out to the patio as well. To my very big surprise I also found one of the petunias I thought I had killed during winter show a tiny green shoot. The soil was bone dry but still it started to grow again so when I found two more that looks totally dead I watered them too and hopes for the best 🙂

I do have some tea left so I think I’ll make that last cup of tea for the day and also go down in the cellar again to see if there’s more to bring outside.

The apricot I planted yesterday, that black lid You can see behind is the grey water filter. I need to cover iy every winter because I use too little water and then it tends to freeze in there 🙂
The lawn newly mowed.
The peach.
My Grape elder always produce leafs too early so the next frost will kill all this green and then it takes quite some time before new leafs come and it looks miserable until autumn 🙂

Have a great day!

A day outside for the monsterkitten.

We’re having a really nice day here, a bit frosty in the morning but temperatures rose when the sun did. So today we’ve had 11C (51,8F) 🙂 There is a wind blowing but it isn’t that cold and like most days it can’t reach my garden.

We walked down to the creek and I must say that Alma is getting better and better walking well. Malkolm is just the opposite but that could be that I only notice it now when Alma has started to calm down 🙂 🙂 🙂 We could hear lots of cranes but couldn’t see any, the big migration north has just started and soon I’ll be able to see them flying over us as soon as we’re outside. The doves have arrived too, I do like their sound in the morning when we go outside.

I took a look at my small vegetable garden yesterday and since the weather is so nice I decided I would start removing all the weeds today. This early in spring I can only see the biennals and the perennial weeds and thankfully they grow big enough in autumn that they are easy to see now. It was mostly Aarons’ rod, a few dandelions and also small stinging nettles. The Aarons’rods grow so big that they need to be removed and I did remove most of the dandelions as well, left a couple since I like the leafs in a salad.

Also stinging nettles are nutritious but to be honest, they spread like wild fires and no matter what people say they do sting badly already as tiny plants. Wild raspberries is a bit of a problem here, they too spread fast but then again those berries are probably the tastiest one can find but not in my vegetable patch 🙂 🙂 I also found some carrots from last year so the dogs and I shared them 🙂 🙂 All these weeds filled up that small compost I bought last summer, the black one that one can and must spin around to make it work properly.

Where the Pawpaws grow. Doesn’t look much but they have survived the winter, all green beneath the bark 🙂

It was so so full now that I barely could spin it 🙂 🙂 It works amazingly good, it’s just made of some kind of plastic that also insulated really well. They say it works down to -11C (12,2F) and I believe them. It’s counted as a warm compost and during summer it gets really warm and I put my hands in it now when it was cold and I could still feel warmth in there. I’ll continue tomorrow with more weeding and thankfully I do have a big compost made from the same material that still has some space it it 🙂

She didn’t look too happy when she looked out the door 🙂

Malkolm never far behind.

The monsterkitten was allowed to walk out from the kitchen door by herself today. Can’t say she was especially enthusiastic in the beginning, lots of going in and out at the beginning 🙂 🙂 She did get more brave after a while but as soon as the dogs thought she had wandered a bit too far (4 meters as most wich is much the same in yards) they started to make sure she walked back to the door 🙂 🙂 🙂 We’ll have much the same temperatures the coming five days so she’ll have plsnty more times to explore the garden 🙂

Alma was also keeping an eye on her. An exciting day for the monster kitten and she’s been sleeping all afternoon 🙂

Time for dinner I think, have no clue what I’ll make but after that I’ll make a pot of tea 🙂

Have a great day!

Warmer winds.

So today was the last day with cold weather and sunshine for quite some time it seems, I’ll miss the sunshine but not the temperatures 🙂 The low pressure is arriving with a roaring wind now and it might even be as warm as 10C (50F) already on Saturday.

This morning however was still pretty cold and the sun shone as well. Thankfully once again totally wind free (it arrived later in the day) so it was quite nice being outside walking. Alma behaved reasonable well but Malkolm pulled the leash instead. He’s not that big and strong though so that isn’t so bad to be honest but if Alma isn’t allowed to do it neither is he. I must start thinking about the possibility that the tutor on my kidney has grown and that I’ll get treatment during the summer so having dogs pulling the leash when I most likely won’t be especially strong is a bad idea. However we aren’t there yet so perhaps I can make them both calm down by then.

I’m so lucky that my neighbour works in a supermarket now when Alma is in heat and the shot Malkolm had doesn’t work properly yet because I realised that the cat litter wouldn’t last for long so she brought home a bag for me plus I suddenly had a craving for some soda, I normally don’t drink soda unless I have a head ache so it will be something with caffein in it. Today I wanted something else, so now I have pear soda at home. I didn’t think they still made that so when she said they sold it I really wanted it 🙂 🙂 🙂 I remember when being at my mormors’ (grandmother on my mothers side) I was always allowed to go downstairs to get a soda and I usually chased between raspberry soda or pear soda 🙂 I was also always allowed to take an ice cream if I wanted to 🙂

The monster kitten was allowed to be without the cone of shame for a couple of hours today and she really enjoyed it. Tomorrow it’ll be eight days after surgery so I’ll allow her to be without it even longer and on Saturday she will not have it any more. It should be totally healed already now I think but it might still be a bit fragile I guess so better be safe than sorry. The scar doesn’t seem to bother her at all though   but to be honest neither does the cone 🙂 The only thing is that the the place where the cone is tied together seems to be itching, as soon as it goes off the itching stops.

Today I won’t have that last cup of tea for the day, instead I’ll have some pear soda 🙂

Have a great day!

That made grocery shopping a bit more tricky :-)

Last night just before I fell asleep I heard a what I think is a fox kill an animal, could have been a hare but didn’t think much about it. Hares cane make the most horrible sounds, as my mother always says, when they are killed they sound like a woman getting stabbed with a knife in her back. I would perhaps say it differently 🙂 🙂 but it’s true. It didn’t sound quite like that but I couldn’t figure out what else it could be.

-14C (6,8F) this morning but wonderful sunshine and no wind so it didn’t feel bad at all 🙂

It wasn’t until this morning when I couldn’t find the monster kitten I started to worry about it. After all she’s small and really fast when she wants to so I started to wonder if she possibly had managed to get out, I was however still pretty sure she was asleep on one of the sofas when we walked up to the bedroom. I had looked everywhere downstairs and just couldn’t find her. So I said to Alma find the kitten and it took her ten seconds by showing me that she was sleeping in my bed 🙂 🙂 :-)Alma is a natural when it comes to find missing things she knows what they are called. Every time Malkolm disappears I just tell her to get  Malkolm an a short time after she brings him home 🙂 Good thing because one of my neighbours daughters are amazingly quick to vanish from the surface of the earth, so far she’s never been really lost but if that would happen I’m sure Alma would find her quickly.

It actually looks like The monster has accepted the punishment of having a cone around her head 🙂 🙂 She isn’t stopped by it in any way, she just finds a new way to handle reality and so far it has worked great. She was of course not too happy this morning but thankfully the painkillers she’s gotten she’s up and about almost like normal. It does help a lot that they have given the pill a taste of something she really likes so she just ate it out of my hand 🙂

Alma is supposed to be in heat next month, that’s why Malkolm got his injection yesterday, it takes around a month before it is working at 100% So I wasn’t the least surprised to find out that she’s in heat now 🙂 🙂 :-)She is really good at taking care of any blood but yesterday evening I found a small drop on the floor. Thankfully he hasn’t shown too much interest in her yet and with each day it should be less and less but I once had surprise puppies after a dog was here (a brother to one of my dogs, old Erna) where he got the injection too late and my old Erna went in to heat. He never showed any interest in her until I had to go away for two hours 🙂 🙂 🙂 Even though this was anything but good those dogs were the most easygoing dogs I’ve ever had here 🙂 🙂 🙂 Orvar and Hector had two sisters as well and they were just as wonderful (yes the new owners knew about it).

Grocery shopping will be a bit difficult now though because I really can’t leave those two alone in the dog yard. So I’ll either have to bring them in the car if I just need something small and I just have to go to the small grocery store in Gudhem but I can thankfully ask my neighbour who works in a super market if she can help me if I need a bit more 🙂 I really have the best of neighbours 🙂

It is time for a last cup of tea, in fact I already have it here by the computer 🙂 and then most likely read a book because I doubt there will be anything interesting on tv.

Have a great day!

I only had to call twice to make it work :-)

Must have been a full moon last night.

We had sunshine for quite some time yesterday and even sunshine for hours today, It was around noon when the clouds managed to cover the sun fully. Also in the morning there was a thin cloud layer but the sun managed to shine through it.  From now on days will stay just below 0C (32F) but nights will get pretty cold, we might even have the chance to see more of the sun if we’re lucky.

The beekeeper still have his bees here, I don’t think he will be in a hurry to get them since the price for the property is insanely overpriced.

So yesterday I got the new 5G router sent to me. I know I always get frustrated when changing system and nothing ever goes like one wants so I just left the package on the counter until this morning. It is never a good sign when they write must read the instructions before trying to connect. So the first thing I did after our morning walk was to pick out all the things in the packages and to read the instructions. To be honest there wasn’t that much to read more than put up antenna first of all because the system is designed that way.

Ok and of course it said the antenna works much better if it is outdoors. Well they really don’t care if the cables are long enough to put the antenna (a square little thing) at its best location, towards the south east. Well I was lucky there because I could put it on one side of the cottage that is placed south to south east or round the corner with is south east to east. The first wall would have been so much better because then I could just use a ladder to reach the highest point (just three meters above the ground. However the antenna cable wasn’t long enough for that.

The old hunters lodge.

Instead I had to lean out from the window upstairs and put it under my window. Leaning out like that while trying to fasten the holder with four small screws isn’t nice and when I was going to put the antenna in the holder it turns out I’ve placed the holder way too close to the windowsill, if I ever have to remove it I’ll have to break either the windowsill or the antenna 🙂 🙂 🙂 The antenna needs electricity so I plugged it in, placed the router on the desk (apparently I should have screwed it to a wall or something but I thought it would be better to have it on the desk.

Well, turns out that there is a cable that needs to be attached from the antenna to the router so at the moment everything is placed just inside the window and I’m pretty sure the monster kitten will do her best to tear it all away during the night 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’m also pretty sure that if I screw it to the wall beside the window she’ll try even harder to rip it off plus then she’ll have lots of cable she can chew on as well 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’m mostly proud of that I only had to call my phone company twice to get it to work 🙂 🙂 🙂

It is time to get that last cup of tea for the day, I’ll have nothing to eat though because we had pancakes today and even though we ate those pretty early in the day I still feel full.

Have a great day!

Why did they waste paper on that?

The “lake” behind the dog yard.

We’ve had sunshine for one and a half day!!! It felt like walking around in another world, birds were singing, the air smelled wonderful and I even felt a hope that the world soon would turn back to its normal violent self without that fat orange man creating chaos. Now the grey and duck weather has returned but they’re guessing next week will give us lots of sunshine. We’ll see if that happens.

I got a letter from my phone company that said the order was done. I had absolutely idea what that meant but wasn’t too worried because it didn’t cost anything 🙂 🙂 It drove me slightly crazy though not to know what it was so I called the company. Even they were a bit confused (and I didn’t have to wait for more than three minutes until I got help?!!) but then we realised that I had created a new e-mail address and that must be what the order was 🙂 🙂 Why on earth do they send me over five pages to tell me that, without actually telling me what it was 🙂 🙂  🙂

Then the guy said: You’re paying an awful lot for Your internet, both the phone and the computer, so now they’ll send me a new router with 5G connection, we lowered the amount of data for the phone but I now have unlimited amount for the computer and this will cost me around $ 25 US a month less than before. Normally I would perhaps not bothered that much but now when I’m unemployed I took it. Apparently this new router will have an antenna and I have a wild monster kitten, could be fun to try and get the best signal for the router 🙂 🙂 🙂

I also called the vet so that Sara can be neutered and Malkolm get a chemical neutering that will last for six months because soon Alma will be in heat. They couldn’t answer but the answering machine said to leave a message and they would call me back. Two hours passed and no call back. I’ll have to call again on Monday so it gets done. I don’t like this chemical thing, one never know what hormones will do besides what it should but since the prices are so insanely high it must be done this time.

I also went to the grocery store in the village where I used to work this morning. I’ve done my grocery shopping there since I moved to this region. 27 years now, so even if it is a bit far to go there I still want to do it every now and again. After that I went to the factory and had a chat with all my old work friends and they aren’t happy. Very little to do in most parts of the factory. The main problem though is the same as when I worked there, the leadership. If You’re a leader in a work place Your job is to make people feel they are important and make them like the workplace, that isn’t happening there I’m afraid.

The sun is actually already giving away some heat noe, a bit early but I like it, nights the temperature can drop down to -8 C (17,6F) This is a season we call Springwinter. Not spring because it is still too cold at nights but not winter either because it is too warm during the days. A prefect season for picnics 🙂

It is time for a last cup of tea and then my favourite show on tv.

Have a great day!

It has been a rather nice day with lots of sunshine and below freezing temperatures until noon, after that it has been grey and dull.. Most of the snow is now gone, instead we have ice 🙂 except for where the sun has reached, the snow is still there but was so hard that even I could walk on it!

We walked down to the creek and thankfully, even though I do like having horses working in the forest, the horse guy and his horses were elsewhere today. So much easier to walk with Alma, especially on slippery ice 🙂 🙂 We managed to have our walk despite ice and lots of pulling the leash from them both. It will stay above 0 C (32 F) both night and day for seven days they’re guessing so that ice will probably melt away in the shadowy parts as well.

After that I’ve tried to understand the new computer 🙂 I wanted to see something on tv today so I had to do it via the computer. So I installed SVT (Swedish television) play, easy done but since I don’t have any speaker I then logged in to SVT Radio to get some sound via my phone, It was ski Biathlon I wanted to watch and it is a so popular sport here that they have it on both radio and tv at the same time. What I didn’t know was that the tv was around 10 minutes after the radio so when they said what was happening on the radio it still hadn’t happened on tv, very odd 🙂 🙂 🙂 So I had to download SVT play on my phone so that I could get the sound and picture right 🙂 🙂

I also downloaded my photos to the new computer, I can see why professional photographer wants that program, the photos are so clear that it is amazing! However the program is anything but user friendly 🙂 🙂 🙂 Downloading the photos was easy but then trying to create an album took around twenty minutes before I figured it out, the problem was that it seemed impossible to get those photos in to the new album 🙂 🙂  Took ten minutes to figure that out as well 🙂 I only down size my photos and that should be easy enough but oh no. I had to check how many MB it was after I tried it because I’m used to PC 🙂 🙂 🙂 I still don’t know if I have saved it because no such question popped up 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’ve stopped trying for the day so now I’ll go downstairs and have one of my newly baked rolls and then I’ll read a book 🙂 No tea now, I drank some too late yesterday and didn’t sleep much last night 🙂

Have a great day!

Low flying mist here and there on our walk.

I went out to throw garbage in the bin and thankfully had my phone with me, the sun was setting and now it’s almost as cold as it was early this morning.

I must admit that when I let the dogs outside early this morning I really didn’t think it felt especially cold at all, I followed them and filled the bird feeders while they did their thing. So the first thing I did when we came back in was to check the thermometer, it was -14 C (6,8 F) 🙂 :-)There was no wind and for once the humidity was rather low and that helped a lot to make it feel warmer of course.

We went out for our morning walk as soon as the temperature had risen to -9 C (15,8 F) and since would be walking down to the creek the sun would warm up the air quite fast when walking between the trees on the gravel road. Alma wouldn’t make our walk especially enjoyable today and she showed that as soon as we started to walk but I couldn’t figure out why, not until we came closer to the creek and I saw that the horse guy was working today. It is something with Alma and especially horses and the cattle in the neighbor pasture.

So she could smell them long before we even came close and no matter how fun it is to see those horses working I really would have preferred that they had stayed at home today 🙂 🙂 🙂 I guess he worked today because the storm is closing in and better be done before it arrives. It’ll be just wind this time and later on warm weather, so they guess at least, so no more snow thankfully 🙂 Perhaps one can hope for lots of snow melting as well so it will be easier to walk in the forest again. I feel however that will be too much to hope for 🙂 🙂

My cold is neither better nor worse, I cough sometimes but thankfully not at night, I freeze sometimes but not all the time and every now and again my nose is runny but nothing worse. Sara the monster kitten kept us awake for quite some time yesterday evening with lots of bumps in the night, except for that time when she broke my last tea cup. Lots of sharp pieces spread over the floor. She came running up and annoyed the dogs when she had done that. So now I had to find my thermos and make a big pot so I could use the small coffee cups I almost never use. I must remember to write down I need to buy a new one when I’m writing my shopping list.

I think it is time to have that last cup of tea for the day. I can’t remember if this particular thermos keeps the heat well though. I have one I couldn’t find today that keeps it for almost 24 hours, I’ll see if I can find it so I know the tea will be warm tomorrow morning 🙂

Have a great day!

I turned around after tossing the garbage in the bin and saw that it most likely is a full moon night.

She didn’t like cold snow towards her paws 🙂

I’m pretty sure I have a cold again. I was pretty sure yesterday as well but today I’ve been freezing like a dog on and off. Can’t say that I feel especially sick except for the muscle pain and the occasional moments of freezing. I did get a bit warm when we were out walking but that’s mostly because I’m not especially fit 🙂 🙂 The snow on the ground is still more like ice pebbles so not even my studded shoes get any grip in it, the dogs however have no such problems but they did at least not fall down again 🙂 🙂

We’ve had a really nice day here otherwise, a nasty wind has been blowing but the forest took all of it and we’ve also had a lovely sunshine all day as well. There were lots of animal tracks in the snow and it looked like lots of wild hogs had been moving around and also a few Roe deer. Plus our local fox, the one that has a tendency to poop on the stirs both at my cottage and my neighbors 🙂 The badgers are asleep now but they just sleep during winter, not hibernate, so we sometimes see their tracks as well in the snow.

The wind had been pretty hard, look at that bent Pine!

Sara the cat tries every now and again to run outside when she thinks I don’t see her and she is quick but a bit obvious so I have so far had control. She was close yesterday though so I picked her up and placed her on one of my composts. I could see that she was excited but also see that cold and wet snow isn’t a favourite of hers, she hasn’t tried to run outside after that 🙂 🙂 🙂

It’s time for that last cup of tea and perhaps a french roll with cheese and some kind of marmalade.

Have a great day!

Winter is here and it will stay I’m afraid.

It rained almost all day yesterday but later the temperature dropped and the rain became snow. The dogs had so much fun in the snow, they had been bored all day because they didn’t want to go outside in the rain so when the snow started to fall they really enjoyed to run around 🙂

It didn’t feel that cold when I let them out in the morning but that was because we didn’t have any wind, it was nasty cold 🙂 So I filled the bird feeders before we went out on our morning walk. The horse guy came pretty early so we went out into the forest and out on the peninsula in the bog. The sun was shining but it was unusually quiet, normally sunny days in winter means lots of birds twitting but I only hear a few but the ravens could be heard flying above us. I do like ravens but I really don’t like how they hunt. it is a nasty way that they even use on calves here (I will not explain what they do because of its nastiness) , still they are so smart and they always fly around playing up in the air on stormy days.

It’s almost always completely dry beneath the branches on a spruce so it’s a good place for animals to stay on rainy and snowy days. We used to have a huge spruce not far from the village where I and the dogs could take cover when we were surprised by heavy showers or hail. Just a few drops would reach us.

I haven’t had a raven as pet but a European Jackdaw, a small cousin who are very intelligent as well and the most fun bird there is. Now that happened before it became illegal to have them as pets and this one had a broken wing that never healed the way it should have, so he couldn’t fly. So instead he lived with me and the pets I had back then 🙂 Two dogs and a rat called Hamlet 🙂 Anyway, the walk was really nice especially since we had sunshine all day.

We had been at home for a while when the dogs suddenly wanted to go outside again and since it was so nice in the sunshine I followed them. Turns out that my neighbor and her children were in their garden so the dogs jumped over the fence and played with the children 🙂 It has been a while since I saw the dogs so happy 🙂 It felt much colder staying still in the garden though so we had to go indoors. Yes I could have let the dogs stay outside but Malkolm has a tendency to walk around and suddenly he walks away towards the forest or the big swamp/ little lake behind the garage and then one never know where he ends up 🙂 🙂

They’re guessing we’ll have lots of sunshine tomorrow as well and I do hope the horse guy is elsewhere tomorrow or arrives late because it would be nice to be able to walk down by the creek and/or in the older forest. Well I think that perhaps the water has frozen enough so we can walk out to the island in the bog, it isn’t nice to sink down half a meter /yard in half frozen mud 🙂 🙂

Have a great day!

Now I know why I slept so bad these last days, the full moon was bright this morning.

A storm passed by during last night, I knew it would be windy but not even close to what it was 🙂 It didn’t reach my garden because my neighbors cottage and garage blocked it but I could hear the roar from the wind blowing through the forest and it was loud! I couldn’t see any trees that had fallen though so the ground must have frozen enough to hold a grip on the trees.

Jackdaws having their morning flight.

This is the only place Alma always is quiet at, she saw her first wild hogs here, piglets. Today both she and Malkolm stared down to the trees so I guess there might have been hogs there today again.

I’ve finally made that clay thing I wrote about, a viking ship advent candlestick. If it was supposed to float on water it would sink because it is warped in all directions 🙂 🙂 🙂 I’ve had much fun making it though and that’s why I tried it but I think working with clay is not a hobby I will continuing doing 🙂 🙂 🙂 As it is now it’s also a sure fire-hazard because the lights are put deep in the lichens and they dry as soon as they come indoors and would start to burn as soon as it gets warm enough. So perhaps I must buy some more clay so the the candles stand above the lichens with no risk of them falling down. Even normal advent candlesticks can be dangerous if not watched properly and is one of the biggest reason to fires in homes this time of year.

One could see already at the beginning this ship wouldn’t be seaworthy. I evened out most of the side and then

I painted it. I had the idea to try and paint it so one could see individual planks but realized that I really didn’t care that much 🙂 🙂

Painted some more and decorated it with lichens. As I wrote this is a fire hazard since the candles stand in the lichens and moss but I won’t light the candles and this looks good 🙂

I managed to cancel the second computer order I made yesterday already today. To not risk them missing it I put a message on their web site, their forum, I emailed it and also finally managed to call them 🙂 🙂 To be honest the price was so low that I most likely would have been able to sell it for a better price on our ebay called Tradera if I had failed but why go through that if I don’t need to. One of my brothers’ who’s a Mac fanatic (never had anything else ever) is happy about this, I’m leaving the dark side and have seen the light 🙂 🙂 🙂 He’s the only one I know who has a Mac so I guess we’ll have plenty of phone calls until I’ve understood how those computers work 🙂 🙂 🙂

Alma behaved so well today when we were out walking that it surprised me! Oh how I wish this would continue but she has her moments of peace and then back to even worse than before until she calms down again 🙂 🙂 There were a few moments out by the bog when sounds, I can only describe them as sounding like distant explosions, rolled over the bog. Have no clue to what it could have been but they did worry her for a few minutes. A wolf killed a hunting dog not far from here yesterday, I just can’t understand why hunters so willingly let their dogs run out in a forest where they have wolf-packs?? They know this can and will happen but they just refuse to change the hunting methods they have used up till now. After this has happened they go out in media crying how horrible the wolves are and now they’ve lost a family member and the kids are crying. Well if it was a family member why didn’t they keep the dog leashed??

I’ve already had my last cup of tea for the day and after this it’s time to fall asleep in front of the tv 🙂

Have a great day!

Sunrise, well the sun wasn’t supposed to rise in a couple of ours but the tiny gap in the clouds really made it look nice.

The morning was quite cold today since the sky was clear and I could see the stars before the sun rose. No wind which I like but making our electrical bills go sky high (for those that pay per hour, I don’t so it doesn’t affect me that much. I pay for the average price of the month so I really should love the wind so our wind power plants turn as much as possible 🙂 🙂

Here comes photos I took on the way to the store/factory and back home again.

I drove to the grocery store in the village where I used to work, I didn’t know I needed as much as I bought 🙂 I forgot the list I had written and only remembered fruit, cat food and a cheese so I brought home a little of everything 🙂 🙂 After that I drove to the factory and wished everyone a good christmas.

I had driven almost all the way back home when I realized that I also was supposed to pick up a package in Gudhem so I had to turn and go back out on the roads again. It’s the opposite way than to my old work place 🙂 So up the hill bring the package bought something I thought I had forgotten and drove back home again. It wasn’t until we were out in the forest that I suddenly remembered something I really needed 🙂

So as soon as we were back from the walk I put the dogs in the dog yard again, jumped in to my car, drove to Gudhem and bought it and felt pretty annoyed about it all so I also bought a soda and a big chocolate bar 🙂 🙂 🙂  I now refuse to look at the list if I actually needed something more because I refuse to drive to any store again until next Monday 🙂 🙂 🙂

Clouds arrived while we were out on our walk and now we have fog again. It’ll be cold during the night but from tomorrow and some days ahead we’ll have warm temperatures again. Yes I know they aren’t that good in guessing the coming weather over here but I wouldn’t complain it it actually reach 10 C (50 F) for a couple of days or why not the rest of the winter 🙂 🙂

Lots of playing in the garden after I had come back home from the second drive to the store 🙂

Have a great day!

The monster kitten is for once sleeping 🙂 🙂
