It really was spring like here for a while so I thought I might start here again, then the rain came and now it snows. They tend to change the weather forecasts faster than a spinning wind power plants but at the moment it looks like we’ll get nasty cold nights and barely survivable warm days. That will of course change next second but that’s what I’ve read so far.
..
So what has happened since christmas? Well I’ve learned, after 58 years why I’ve always had a wobbly stomach. Turns out I can’t eat gluten. I was at the companies health care service and talked with a nurse there. She asked if I had tried to stop eating products with gluten and I said I had bought one of those rather expensive home tests and it didn’t show anything at all. So she said try and stop eat anything with gluten and see what happens. Well I can tell You that I really don’t use much toilet paper now days π π π
..
Now days it isn’t that hard to avoid gluten since it has become fashionable to not eating it. however the bread one can buy is an abomination to anything living so I’ve tried different ways to bake bread with other kinds of cereal and now I have bread that is just like any other except I really can’t make a good French roll but I’ll keep on trying till I get close enough.
I had a few rolls of film developed and these two photos were taken with the Flexaret II
The dogs are all fine and I must say that Alma has calmed down considerable. She would still be considered awful compared to other dogs but she has really tried to listen to what I tell her. Last time we saw a deer she only screamed for five minutes after she last saw it and that’s a huge improvement. More and more cranes are around now and now I can hear them trumpeting from the lake in the mornings. Well I can hear them for the cow pasture on the other side of the road as well but so far they’ve stayed behind a tiny mound so I haven’t been able to see them yet.
These three were taken with the Agfa Ambi Silette..
Well since the wetaher will be more wintery than what I prefer I’ll come back next weekend again.
No photos from today. This is the beginning of a cherry plum tree π
Β
The day started nice but went downhill after that. It’s a bit chilly, the humidity is up to 94% and it is mostly raining. Sometimes it stops raining but not for especially long. The rain will continue more or less for at least five days. It seems that the Cuckoo bird I heard didn’t have a clue to what weather we’ll have this summer π π π
...
Thankfully the dogs refuse to take walks when it rains and I’m not complaining about that π π Even the birds seems to think this is a bit much and it looks like most of them hide beneath the roof on my patio, so nice to get more poop on everything in there π π I did however take advantage of this rain and I’ve spread lots of flower seeds on the lawn pieces I’ve placed over the stinging nettles. I do hope they grow large before the nettles manages to grow through it all.

Yesterday I woke up pretty grumpy, I can’t remember what I had dreamt but that grumpyness stayed all day. Today I woke up even more grumpy, still no idea what I had dreamt about and I’ve felt both grumpy and cranky all day π π I do hope I dream about something funny tonight because the days get so slow when feeling grumpy π π I once woke up in the middle of the night laughing like crazy, have no idea what I had dreamt about then either but I did feel very happy when I finally went back to sleep. I wish that could happen again because it felt just great!
...Never a good sign when ants gather like this, there are most likely aphids hiding in those leafs.I’ve sown lots of these today.
We have a holiday on Thursday (Ascension Day) and I hope I have nothing to paint on Friday because if I haven’t I will go home early. They are so busy where I worked before so they’ll have to work and that sort of feels nice, for me that is π
The Daffodils (we call them easter lilies) had started to flower in FalkΓΆping. Here at home I can see one bud so far.
So on Monday afternoon they called me from the garage and told me that they had found an oil leak and wondered if I wanted to get it fixed now or later. I said now and they said good, You can get Your car on Tuesday after 1pm. No problems for me, I just called my work place and told them what had happened and they never complain when things like that happens.
My favorite little shop that only is open if one calls ahead and asks to come in. I don’t know much but I do know that the lamp we can see here is pretty expensive.
.
.
So I start walking at 11:30 to catch the bus that goes to FalkΓΆping at 12:39. Apparently my spine is a bit inflamed which I didn’t know, so after a while it squeesed some nerves that goes all the way down my leg and the walk is 45 minutes long in a good day, yesterday wasn’t a good day at all and I limped badly the last meters to the bus stop but I did make it. After that it’s a fifteen (in a good day) minute walk uphill to the garage. I did reach it after 35 minutes, limping even more bad π π π I open the door and they guy sitting there says we didn’t get that spare part this morning π π π

We will however get it this afternoon. At that moment I actually wondered if it was worth going to jail for the rest of my life after killing him for not giving me a call at all to tell me that π π π I think he could feel that so then he said But we have a car You can borrow. It’s really good to drive but You mustn’t remove the ignition key when You’ve stopped. I so wish I had asked why I couldn’t do that because every time I had stopped the car I really, really wanted to pull out that key to see what would happen π π π No problem at work really and absolutely no problems here at home since people can’t find this place even with a map or a GPS π But I wanted to stop by the store on my way home and some people in that village wouldn’t think for a second before that had stolen that car, a small Renault by the way.

I took this from the bus on my way home. A bit too dark because it’s almost impossible to see the Abbey ruin beside the church.
So every time I left the car I just placed my fleece jacket over the steering wheel so that no one could see the key sitting there. So I had the car until this afternoon when I finally could get my own car back. I must say that the little Renault was quite nice to drive but the seat was so hard that my back started to act up again. I’m glad that I finally understood how the fan and heating worked because we had frost again this morning. The rest of the day has been really nice though, lots of sunshine and warmer winds. I could have the door open to the painting box as well. Another good thing is that my work friend has come back from his paternity leave. Both because I’ve missed him but also because I finally don’t have to do his job π π π I’ll still go through all the nozzles in the big washing machine every Friday morning because he can’t leave his little boy at the day care center so early in the morning. I like that part a lot because that means I’ll still have my going home early Fridays π π
I stopped by the lake to see if there were any Cranes there.

Stora Bjurums Castle.
Besides this nothing much else has happened. I haven’t worked much this week but I still feel that tomorrow can’t come fast enough π π If everything goes as planned I’ll start removing grass on the spots I’m planing on having my vegetable patch and also my potato patch.
.
Back in the days there was a lively little village beside the castle, almost all of it is gone now.
Here there was a yellow apartment building, it was still there when I moved here. There was also a shop(since long closed) and I think an old garage as well. All the old root cellars that all the villagers had are still there though on the other side of this road.
Have a great day!
It isn’t that long ago people lived in these houses. Too bad the castle owners didn’t know that the pandemic would have risen the price on them so much that it would have been a really great idea to renovate them. The pandemic made people realize that living in the middle of nowhere actually would be a great idea since it is harder to get infected π
That cow kept her hostile eyes on me both on my way home and also back to the bus the day after. She had a newborn calf lying just out of sight here.
The snow started to fall yesterday and I think it stopped some time before I went up this morning, that would be around 4:40 am. They had siad that we would have below 0C (32F) temperatures during the night but I think it stayed at that temperature all night. (Most photos today are from yesterday when we took a walk after work)

All roads were ice free but the smaller ones were covered in a thick layer of snow. They have been warning us for more snow today and strong winds but it looks as if that nasty weather has passed further north of here. The winds are sort of reasonable strong and the rain is pouring down. Everything is wet and muddy now and every time the dogs have been outside, just to quickly do what is necessary, I need to scrub the floors again. They are still guessing that we’ll get more snow later tonight and that the temperature will drop for a short while so that we’ll have a snow white world again at least for a short while.

I went to the physiotherapist today and she checked how well or not my arms worked. We talked about my rheumatism but she didn’t think it would make any difference on this and we talked about Alma as well π π Well I had to apologize to Alma when I came home today because she’s not guilty for this, she may have hastened the symptoms but she isn’t responsible for this. I have what she called an inpintchement ( I hope I heard that right, she’s Danish but spoke Swedish really well) in both my shoulders but the right one is much worse than the left.

It means that my nerves are getting squeesed and therefore gives me pain. I got some exercises I should do and was told to stay at home for at least five working days. I’ll meet her in two weeks and if these exercises doesn’t help she will hand me over to a doctor. If I get better I’ll get more exercises to do and we’ll continue like that until I’m back to much better. This is a rather common thing to get when working with the hands above the head for way too many times and for too long periods without any chance to rest the arm and shoulder. Painters are especially common amongst those who get it.

They are very helpful at work and now they started to discuss other people who risk getting this too. Nothing bad that doesn’t bring some good with it! I stopped by the lake on my way home and there are some cranes but I could see at least as many in the fields just outside my village. The last counting said 17200 and that was two days ago, it snowed way too much for them to be able to count any yesterday π
