Finally :-)

Wild hogs finds food everywhere even if it is a hard packed gravel road 🙂

Finally! It has been above 0C (32F) for almost all day and still is even though the sun is long gone. It was 4C (39,2F) as warmest and I’ve enjoyed every second of it 🙂 I’ve also collected melt water for both my plants and aquarium. The rain water barrels are still deep frozen but I think I’ll have enough until the ice in them thaw as well 🙂 The plants in the cool cellar have been drinking lots more than I thought they would since it has been so cold down there so I really needed this 🙂

No sunshine today though but at the moment I really don’t care, it’s so nice to just feel the warmer air when stepping outside. I’ll enjoy this for as long as it lasts, after all we’re only in late February still so setbacks will come but this is at least giving some hope of a warmer future 🙂 We had some misty rain for a while and I doubt that helped much with the melting of ice and snow but I’m pretty sure the roads will be horrible to drive on tonight, that rain must have placed itself as a thin surface of black ice. I’ve promised to pick up my neighbour later tonight if his brother haven’t fixed a ride home so he can go with him. I’ll be driving very carefully if that happens 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’ve realised that I wasted the chance on having a nap during the day all this time since I stopped working in the coffin factory! I can for my life not understand how I have been able to not do that, not even once. Well I have fallen asleep in the recliner but that was just because it was so boring programs on tv 🙂 🙂 🙂 The hunters will be out in the forest tomorrow so I think I’ll plan a little nap for tomorrow 🙂

Very little has happened here otherwise, the camera caught some wild hogs again and also either one fox twice or two because there was some time going between the two photos. Not the best quality on them but at least I know our fox still lives 🙂 I’ll show those tomorrow because I just realised I had forgotten to make them smaller 🙂

It is time for that last cup of tea for the day and I think a slice or two of the bread I baked today. Sort of half failed and it was all my own fault 🙂 still very edible though.

Have a great day!

Glad to read that your weather is improving, Christer, as ours is not. There was a light snowfall of a few inches overnight on Friday. But, a bigger storm is forecast to arrive late Sunday night (tonight) and bring snow through most of Monday. It has been a very snowy and cold winter in Nashua, NH. Spring is coming eventually and yesterday I saw a flock of robins in a snow covered tree.

      Hi Beatrice!

Even though it’s just barely above 32F today it still feels so much nicer. Lots of new snow but it will stay less cold so it will melt away in a day or two 🙂

I’ve heard about that storm! and I hope it isn’t as bad as they say it will be!

No migrating birds here yet but the first cranes usually comes around this time 🙂 No sign of them yet though 🙂

Our weather has been colder too, but never much below freezing, and always warmer during the day. Monty likes old weather but he can’t abide the rain, and now refuses to even ride in the car when it’s pouring. Spoiled brat!

      Hi Carol!

This has been an good old days winter and we aren’t used to that any longer so we just hate this weather 🙂 🙂 🙂 Back in the days winter could stay for as long as the end of April/ early May and I really don’t want to have it like that ever again 🙂

Rain isn’t popular here either and car rides aren’t something they would be happy about either 🙂 🙂 So they usually only go outside in the garden to do what they need to do 🙂
