Well I don’t feel worse today but perhaps not better either so I guess that it at least will take four days for this cold to leave 🙂 Yesterday I had vacation and it poured down all day, today I’ve worked again and suddenly the sun shone and it was almost lukewarm outside 🙂 🙂 We’ll have a few days now when it’ll be sunny and also clear nights, the temperature will drop because of the clear nights it’ll be cold and my guess is that we’ll have our first frost tomorrow night, even possible already tonight.

     

There was this meeting at work today where they were telling us about their plans for the future. I really didn’t understand why I too had to be there but got the answer there would be sandwiches and smoothies I could of course not eat any of it and the smoothies turned out to be extremely small, like a shot size cup of it. I think they said it had apple, ginger and turmeric in it and since I really dislike turmeric I avoided it. Most people at work didn’t really know what turmeric tastes and quite quickly realized they didn’t like it either 🙂 🙂 🙂

     

Then suddenly the one forcing me to quite my job thanked me and another person who is also quitting his job but for the reason he really didn’t like how they were treating him ( he was the one doing all repairs in the entire factory so that created a panic attack in the leadership 🙂 🙂 🙂  )  which I enjoyed fully 🙂 🙂 🙂 thanked us for the long and loyal service. I was thinking what’s wrong with him 🙂 🙂 🙂 For a second I was thinking of asking him that but then again I do respect his sister and father so I stayed quiet 🙂 🙂 🙂

     

However I did get flowers from a work friend and his wife (because I’ve always picked him up on the way to work when the weather has been too bad for him to use his moped), a beautiful pot with Heather and a green plant I never been able to remember the name on 🙂 So I’ve placed it at the best spot here at home and the bouquet I got from the factory is now ending its life in the compost 🙂 🙂 Apparently I was supposed to get a bag with what I guess are t-shirts and a sweater. That one never arrived though and I doubt it will tomorrow either 🙂 🙂 🙂

     

It is time for a cup of something warm, like warm cocoa 🙂

    That little bit photo is so cute!

    Why would they put turmeric in smoothies? To discourage people from asking for more? I understand some people love that; personally I prefer minimal spices/herbs.

    So is Friday the last day of work?

      I was surprised to find that photo 🙂 There are two similar ones that I can use later 🙂

      I have absolutely no idea 🙂 🙂 🙂 It tastes horrific so I guess that’s the reason 🙂 🙂 🙂

      Yes today was the last day but officially it’s on Monday. Feels rather good to be honest 🙂

    I hope the bag you didn’t get with T-shirts and a sweater didn’t have the logo of the company you are leaving on them. That would seem like a slap in the face. I somehow missed what’s causing you to leave your job, but I hope you’re able to find another one quickly, if you haven’t already.

    I used to get fired and laid off a lot before 2002, when I decided to do my own thing and started a freelance business writing business working from home. It was the best thing I ever did because it made me “fireproof,” although what I had to pay for my own private health insurance was always my biggest expense. Unaffordable health care is the huge barrier for small business in the U.S.

    But even working with companies just looking in from the outside was hard because so many workers take their regular paychecks for granted and don’t do their jobs. I only get paid for what I produce, so when they goof off and cause my work to be delayed, no payday for me. I guess there’s no real good way to earn a living.

      Yes everything in it have the logo on it 🙂 🙂 🙂 The boy doesn’t belong to the sharpest knifes in the toolbox to be honest, he also asked me if I had a new job yet 🙂 🙂 🙂 I haven’t even officially stopped working there until Monday 🙂 🙂 🙂 The reason I had to quit was that I can’t work from 4:25 pm to 3:00 am. My sleep would be so disturbed that I soon would hit the wall but my dogs would wake up my neighbors because they bark at any animal passing by all night and I really can’t have them in the cottage for 13 hours. So since I wouldn’t come to work at those hours they would eventually have sacked me for not being at work even if I had come during the days, also I wouldn’t get paid for those hours I would be there anyway. It would be totally impossible for me to get a new job again because of that. The boy already disliked me because I was one of the few that dared to stand up to him. The people in the factory have a nickname for him, the psychopath so that gives You a hint on what he’s like.

      I have had my own business, a garden center but in the end I did like to have some money to buy food for me and the dogs 🙂 🙂 🙂 The funniest job I’ve ever had though but nowdays people buy most plants online and I do too so it’s hard to complain about it 🙂 🙂

    So sorry for the lousy send off from the factory, I’m thinking they will regret it before long. I hope you land on your feet and find something better. My daughter is getting disgusted with her work place and looking for a better job too. Hope she finds one soon. Also keep blogging so we know you are doing okay

      I feel totally calm and I’m sure something will turn up 🙂 Thankfully times change towards the better so I think that in a not too far future we’ll have more jobs available again.

      I’m holding my thumbs for You daughter!

      Blogging will keep on, if I don’t find a job I’ll have plenty of time to do it 🙂

    I’m hoping that cold gets much better with a good night’s sleep.
    Sounds like an uncomfortable situation at work, and I bet you’ll be relieved to turn the page. Transitions are usually awkward, but as you know, they can lead to a situation that’s much better. This is what I hope for you. And also that it happens quickly!

      As long as I don’t cough away the nights I can take most of what the cold has to give 🙂

      I think it was for him, I haven’t done anything wrong and everyone was wondering what the boy was doing, after all he’s the reason I couldn’t stay.

      I’m actually not worried at all and I thankfully was a painter at Volvo and that will make it so much easier to find a new job. We have two kitchen makers here, Kvänum kök and Vedum kök that makes a bit more luxurious kitchen so I’ll contact them first, they are actually looking for people right now. I’ll call them on Monday 🙂 (not only does the people who work there really like the place but they also paid a lot more).
