We’ve now had two really nice days, yesterday no wind at all and today a weak but a bit chilly one but it did cool down some while being in the sunshine for a while. Nights however have been way too cold, yesterday night it fell down to -5C (23F) and last night -3C (26,6F). I hadn’t covered the plants in the greenhouse and some of them was frost damaged. I did however cover the little apricot tree to protect the small flower buds I found and it looks like they haven’t been damaged. I’ll have to continue to cover that tree until we won’t have any frost nights, until around June sixth 🙂

I’ll have to pick up a parcel tomorrow, it arrived today but I just didn’t have the energy to go to get it today. I passed that place yesterday so I feel a bit annoyed that it didn’t arrive until today 🙂 🙂 :-). I’ll see if the grocery store has gotten any good ice cream when I’m there, I’ll be home just before it would start to melt 🙂 I really don’t need anything but one can never have too much milk or yogurt at home also a few pears would be nice to have as well.

Nothing special is happening here at the moment. We see the same roe deer every morning and cranes fly by every now and again. I can hear the nesting couples out in the fields but so far I haven’t seen them, it won’t be long before they’ll be walking in the cow pasture outside my garage though. Things starts to grow here in the cottage now so I do hope those cold nights stops now, I should really have moved out my tomato plants by now but that’ll have to wait a while longer so yay nights at least are warmer than 0C (32F), lower than that and the cold air makes its way in to it, warmer and the warmth that was there in the evening mostly stays there all night.

It is time for a pot of tea, I have some digestives waiting and also some camembert so I’ll join the both to enjoy them with the tea 🙂

Have a great day!
