It looks like it finally will turn towards less cold weather.

It fell down to -22C (-7,6F) during last night but a sunny day followed by a cloudy afternoon has made it much less cold. If the Norwegian weather site, YR.NO, is right we might actually get above 0C (32F) during the days late next week. Just knowing there’s a chance makes life feel easier 🙂 Still it is so far away so that might change thousands of times until then but it does give hope 🙂

We went down to the creek when the sun had risen but perhaps we should have waited a while longer, the snow was still so cold that it creaked when we walked on it. No wind though so that made it feel so much nicer than it perhaps was. Lots of tracks in the snow, mostly from pigs, deer and a fox that followed a hare. I did see rather fresh tracks from a moose as well but they went in a direction that there was no risk of us meeting it.

Last evening it was so col in the cool cellar that since the temperature dropped outside I feared it would fall down below 0C (32F) down there. Not good since the water pipes goes along the wall, so I moved down an extra radiator during the night. I checked the temperature twice before going to bed and never came close to freezing during the night 🙂 My bigger citrus trees look a bit sad down there but I think they’ll come back as soon as it gets a bit less cold outside.

I think it is time to make that last cup of tea for the day. I wish I had had some ice cream left but I’ve already eaten it all 🙂 and I can’t make a mug cake since I don’t have any microwave any more. Well I guess I’ll have to stay healthy by not eating anything sweet all evening instead 🙂 🙂

Have a great day!
