That was truly a surprise :-)

I’m feeling a bit surprised today because facebook tossed me out 🙂 🙂 🙂 I was sent a warning that I had behaved inappropriate and something about their ads. So they removed me entirely 🙂 🙂 🙂 I have no idea why though because the only thing I post is the blog and my wordl scores. I have removed lots of the ads they show because I haven’t liked them and they were not about something I needed or wanted. Also I have liked all the anti trump posts I’ve seen 🙂 Someone said I could have been hijacked but since I’m removed totally it doesn’t matter.

Very few acorns here this year.
No matter where I look I look at Yarrow. Perfect since I can rub them on the dogs to try and keep the ticks away.
This flower is called Eye comfort. These flowers however is almost ten times bigger than they usually are. All other plants I saw were normal sized, tiny that is.

I have been thinking of leave anyway so I’ll not try to get back again, not by appeal or getting a new account. Still it would have been nice to say good by before I left. Well I do hope they don’t think I’ve died 🙂 🙂 Nice day once again here, more cloudy and with some rain now and again. I was using the compost grinder and since it is electric and with a cord it stopped me to work twice. Still the first pile is done, what’s left is some branches so old that they broke while I tried to lift them up. So I’ve been walking over them a couple of times and now I’ll leave them to autumn and winter to break them down totally. Tomorrow I’ll start on the second pile if it isn’t raining.

I don’t remember if I’ve told You about my mobile phone, I managed to drop it on a small stone and it hit the button that helps controlling the sound and if I want to take a photo of the site I’m looking at. It hit so good that I know can’t use the button and will until the day I say goodbye to it play everything on the highest volume 🙂 🙂 🙂 It can’t be changed in any way so if I look at something with sound it screams out and I have to block the speaker with a finger 🙂 🙂 🙂

Well it is time for that last cup of tea for the day, the machine is baking a bread and it would have been nice to have a cup of tea when I eat that first slice but the machine is anything but fast so milk is what I’ll have instead some time tonight 🙂

Have a great day!

  1. So sorry abut the phone!

Also, sorry about FB. I quit posting there after I got post taken down because they were “commercial” even though they were links to university agricultural offices. Too many weirdos. But my family still post there from time to time, so I look in

    1. Hi Joy!

Well I can buy a new one, well used one at least but who knows it might go back to normal the next time I drop it 🙂

I don’t want to jinx anything but it does look well on the job front.

  2. It’s annoying that Facebook didn’t give you a reason, but it’s all boilerplate messages from bots that probably follow a formula and you maybe used a word somewhere that they are supposed to react to. But I think you are the first person I’ve ever heard of getting kicked off. I thought Zuckerberg wanted everybody on the planet to have an account he can plunder for data.

I have a FB account I don’t use. FB sends me links to people’s posts sometimes. I click the link, it takes me somewhere completely different, and I can never find what I wanted to read in the first place. I didn’t even realize FB has ads.

In 2020 I got kicked off Twitter forever on Christmas Eve for wishing Trump tar and feathers for Christmas. I was unable to delete the account because it was “suspended,” so earlier this year I sent a request to Twitter to delete the useless account for me. Instead, they opened it again and apologized for “any inconvenience” they may have caused. But after 4+ years without Twitter, I never use it now and don’t miss it.

You’re right about your phone. Another fall may knock the volume control back into it.

    1. Hi catsworking!

You’re probably right and I will not go back there again. Lots of ads on fb and sometimes I actually bought something via those ads. I do know a few who has been kicked out just because words but I really like that You wrote that on twitter 🙂 🙂 🙂

Just because I wrote that I’ll never drop this phone again 🙂 🙂 🙂

      1. I’m also on Instagram as Cats Working and I find it delightful and funny. The only thing I post there is cat pictures and I follow friends and famous people I like, so my feed is full of funny cat stuff and posts from people I want to see. No politics at all.

IG does have ads, but on my feed they’re not too bad. They seem to come from things I’ve researched or bought online. You can easily block them, and I’ve never been reprimanded for doing so.

With all your photos, I see you having a lovely IG feed devoted to nature, plants, dogs and cats. You don’t even need words, but can write captions like you sometimes do here. I see it as your happy place, and without the stress often found on FB. I would follow you!

        Something to consider.

      2. I do like instagram but rarely post anything to be honest. I’ve realised that I mostly se3e comics and dog rescues in my feed 🙂 🙂

For some reason I have ads on ig when I look via my phone but nothing at all when I look via the computer 🙂 It has always been like that so I’m not complaining 🙂

I actually have a very little idea on what I post on ig but it sounds like me 🙂
        Can’t remember what I’m calling me over there though 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. Hi Christer,
I had something similar happen on Facebook. Told I’d violated some rule for posting (though it was merely a beautiful nature photo.) The post was removed. Then it happened repeatedly. I was kicked off and my appeal was just dismissed with no review. It was infuriating; I lost some valued friends/contacts which made me sad and angry.

About 6 months later a friend encouraged me to try again with a slightly different spelling of my name but same profile photo. It worked! Then several months after that, Facebook acted like I’d never been gone and recommended all the friends I’d lost when I was kicked off! I now believe it was all a bot’s activity that kicked me off Facebook.

    1. Hi Denali Sam!

Yes it’s the friends one will miss but one has managed to find me here though 🙂

I’ve heard about similar things happening to others and that I might be welcome again in six months because that’a what happened to them. I could also try my first name (I have no idea why they didn’t use that one to call me but instead all my life I’ve been using my middle name 🙂 🙂 ) We’ll see what happens but I’m not sure I’ll go back anyway 🙂
