Windy and partly cloudy or is it partly sunny? I’ve never know which one to use 🙂 🙂 I did three rounds of laundry this morning and it all dried up really quickly. Just enough warm though so I can’t but enjoy the day 🙂
The weather sites are still rather divided on if we’ll get rain or not but they all agree that it’ll be really hot from Thursday and though the weekend. I do wish really nice weather for those having vacation right now but want cool weather since I’ll be working 🙂 🙂 These weather guesses will of course change multiple times before it’s time and not even then they might be right 🙂 🙂
My neighbours, well at least one in the family 🙂 has decided they’re going to have chickens, the new neighbours have too many. I wouldn’t mind having some myself but have decided that I’ll wait until I’m retired. Yews they are cute and it is nice to have ones own eggs but there’s lots of work, they need food and they tend to draw mice and rats who wants that food as well 🙂 🙂 All I hope though is that both Alma and Malkolm won’t try to catch them when they are outside the chicken yard 🙂 🙂 🙂
It’s time for a pot of tea and after that I’ll continue to re-pot my citrus trees. I also have a few melon plants that grows by the livxingroom window that I need to do something about. Most years snails and slugs tend to eat the plants so I was wondering if I should just leave them where they are and if there would be melons growing on them try and grow them there. They do need bigger pots though and perhaps one or two must be moved to the kitchen window where they will get lots of sunshine. The problem with the kitchen window is that there’s where I have most of my cacti 🙂 🙂 🙂 Could be painful to move them 🙂 🙂

I’m so glad you’re getting some warm, sunny weather! It makes the gardening much more enjoyable. We have those bellflowers here too, and they’re considered invasive. I pull them up, but only after they bloom. They’re just so pretty.

It’s really nice if we’re having warm weather during the weekends but will be horrible at work during work week 🙂 🙂 The place is warm enough as it is so summer heat will not help 🙂 🙂
Yes most bellflowers spread something horrible but just plant other invasive species around it and they usually compete with each other enough to stay where they are 🙂 🙂

I have a holly tree outside my kitchen window that’s as tall as the house. One year, a pair of birds built a nest in it. I made the mistake of going outside to take a photo of them and the nest. They saw me and both flew away and never came back. I felt so bad, after all their hard work. I don’t know what kind of birds they were, just small and gray, if I recall.

Yes it is important to pretend not to see them 🙂 By the time I noticed them this year they already had laid their eggs and since I just glanced they stayed. My biggest concern now is that any cats will find them.
Most birds are small and grey I’ve noticed 🙂 🙂

How nice that you will have a lot of peans as that is one veggie we really like especially including it with other veggies and rice, also good in shepherd’s pie. Chickens are a lot of work and since your neighbor will be raising them, maybe you could just arrange to buy eggs from the. The money you save from not having to buy and take care of chickens can go towards buying eggs without doing any work!

I must admit that I’d rather have beans but those vines are damaged by snails all the time, Next year I’ll grow them in the big box instead or another big box I mostly toss garbage in at the moment 🙂 🙂
I’m pretty sure they’ll ask me if I want any eggs 🙂 and as You say I won’t have to do the work 🙂 🙂 🙂
