The sun is shining outside my window. It should have showed earlier but I guess one should be happy for what one get. Still 10C (50F) during the day isn’t that bad but the dogs wanted to go indoors pretty quickly after we had gone outside.
My new neighbours have two roosters and I think three hen. They said that once of the roosters keep on crowing all the time and they were are right 🙂 🙂 🙂 I do like that sound so I enjoy it a lot, plus that they have them on the other side of a building so even if I’m outside it isn’t especially loud and I can’t hear them at all if I’m indoors. I do however think that the second rooster might take over if the first one quiets down 🙂 🙂 🙂 Alma was absolutely stunned when seeing them 🙂 🙂 🙂 She just stood there watching them, she didn’t even whine like she always do 🙂 🙂 🙂
I got a call from the coffin factory today and he told me I got the job 🙂 I’ll start working there next week 🙂 So now I’ll see these last days of unemployment as the end of a vacation and I’ll most likely have “the end of vacation anxiety” on Sunday evening 🙂 🙂 🙂 I must say that I’ve have enjoyed this time I’ve been unemployed but only because I’ve had money enough myself so that I never have had to worry about expenses, otherwise this would most likely have been a long stressful period. Now instead I’ve enjoyed every day and especially those mornings when my neighbours have been outside scraping ice and brushing snow from their cars 🙂 🙂 🙂
It is time for a cup of instant coffee because I don’t have enough tea at home 🙂 By the way, now when we all hate the orange one all over the world there’s actually one thing that upsets us Swedes even more and it has nothing to do with the blob at all, the coffee price is now so high that many struggle to be able to buy it and as the second most coffee drinking country in the world this is serious to us 🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m pretty sure they are, people working in factories must be fun and nice since the jobs usually aren’t 🙂
They are but I doubt so few hen gives especially many eggs 🙂

Hi Christer, congratulations for the new job ! I hope the dogs and monster will not get stressed about you being out for hours. What is the time schedule ? Something like 9-5 or only mornings or afternoons ?

They have been through that before so I think they’ll adjust well to it 🙂
Now in the beginning I’ll work day time (start at 7 am and I think stop working at 4 pm) but after that unfortunately two shift, one week early and one late. The dogs can be in the cottage the late week and my neighbours can let them out in the evening those 4 days I’ll work late.

Congratulations on the new job! Sorry the prolonged vacation is coming to an end but being employed is probably a good idea especially since the orange one is playing havoc with the world economy. However, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase has spoken to Congress about tariffs being stupid. They usually listen to him. Perhaps they’ll grow some spines and take back their power of the purse strings. Sure.
OOH, a big pile of things with holes in them. Places for little critters to hide and little Monster Kittens to find them. Or to sit inside. 😀

Politicians rarely grow a spine but I do hope for once it would be right. For some reason they always believe they’ll escape just before the ship sinks down under the water.

They’ll get leisurely evening walks instead, then again the sun rise so early here during summer and I usually wake up early so we might have some anyway 🙂

Hi Christer, I am late in reading the good news about your job, well done and hope all goes well for you. It wads good to read that your 7 months of unemployment were not a financial burden as it might have been for those who did not save and plan ahread, which you obviously did.
Like another person who commented, I was also wondering if you knew exactly what you would be doing in your new job. Working in a coffin factory tory sounds wuite different than an auto factory.

Yes it could have been so much worse if I hadn’t saved any money before this happened. So I see it as a seven month long vacation 🙂 🙂
Well we fix things that might be wrong and then we paint the coffins, it actually is ver much like working in the auto industry 🙂 🙂
