I’ve always been like this but I still feel it’s wrong to wake up earlier on a weekend than on the days I need to go to work π π π I woke up just as the sun slowly should have risen but there were a few clouds at the horizon that blocked it for a while. The rest of the day however has been sunny without even a single cloud.

We all had something to eat before we went out on our morning walk. It was still a bit chilly so I was stupid enough to wear a sweater, ok it was one with a zipper in the front but it didn’t take long before I started to boil. Walking with Alma does that to me but also the sun started to heat up the air and there was no wind at all. The first thing we did was of course to see a roe deer cross the road and Alma went from just stressed to quite insane. She did calm down a bit though but she gets so excited when she see wildlife that she can be impossible to walk around with.

Of course just when she finally had calmed down properly we went out on a field and what do we see? Another roe deer. So I was prepared for the worst but then she almost didn’t care at all π π π I will never be able to figure out how she will react to anything to be honest π π π I’m so glad that she and Albin never saw the badger strolling along some bushes when we were almost at home. when we came home I finally baked those breads that I should have baked yesterday π π and they turned out quite ok. I think I had a bit too much flour though so the loafs didn’t rise as much as I had hoped. To be honest though, the taste is the only thing that matters as long as it is edible π

The rest of the day has been nice and calm. Alma has been over to the neighbors and played with their daughter. Alma is apparently great with kids. Not so great with Albin because she goes too far and never stops in time. Today I sprayed water on her since I was watering the vegetable patch and that calmed her down considerable π π π I’ve sowed two kinds of Asian cabbage, one edible flower and then lots of draught resistent flowers, mostly those we have as spices like Thyme. I was going to sow Oregano (the Swedish name for it is Kings Mint) but I just can’t remember where I put those seeds π π π Plus I’ve sown all kinds of poppies, morning glories, canary nasturtiums, normal nasturtiums and Black-eyed Susan vine. If they all would grow I’m pretty sure it will look amazing and sort of a mess at the same time π π π

It is time for something, I’m thinking yogurt and perhaps corn flakes or some kind of gluten free granola. I must say that gluten free granola is a bit sad when comparing to the normal one but one takes what one can eat π
Have a great day!
You have a wolf pack? Cool. How do the farmers feel about that?
Gluten free rolled oats can’t taste so awful that they overcome the nuts, dried fruits, and honey/syrup used to stick it all together.
It’s raining pretty steadily here. That’s a good thing because it’s been dry as dust for awhile. Even the air has been dry. It got down to freezing a few nights ago but no frost formed on anything because there wasn’t enough moisture in the air to do it. I mowed the whole lawn yesterday. When I flipped the mower over to rinse off the deck there was no grass stuck there. Just dust.

Hi Caryn!
Yes we have π and it’s main headquarter lies just on the other side of the bog π I haven’t actually heard any complaining at all. We mostly have cattle here and so far wolves haven’t even come close to hunt them, only dogs have stressed some cattle almost to death here but that was a couple of years ago. There has been a wolf that killed sheep but that was on the other side of the lake.
To be honest they are mostly just bland. I’ve noticed that most non gluten edibles also are vegan ok and I’ve also noticed since they don’t use butter or milk or honey everything gets a bland taste with a nasty bitter after taste. The granolas that I’ve found contains glucose instead of honey or even regular sugar or syrup, they are sooo boring.
We were supposed to have a cloudy day here today with no or very little chance of seeing the sun, so naturally we’ve mostly had sunshine π π π Now they’re guessing that we’ll get either a bit of rain or heavy showers early tomorrow morning and sunshine for the rest of they day, I wouldn’t mind the rain but they aren’t too good in guessing the weather here π π π
Dust is at least easier to remove after mowing π π
Have a great day!
