The weather is the most exciting thing happening here lately. Sometimes the sun shine, sometimes the rain fall and every now and again a rather wimpish thunderstorm passes by.
I did order a new slow cooker. I looked at the best in test 2022 a Crok-pot (4,7 liters, 1,24 gallon US) was the best one. So I went online and found one and it turns out they sold it for half the original price. It is still in packaging so I guess they’ll ship it tomorrow. To be honest there were other tests that had a slightly different result but of course the one I looked at was the right test 🙂 🙂 🙂
Can’t say work is exciting but after wearing that air tight overall in the heat one work friend wondered if I had been outside in the rain because I was dripping wet 🙂 🙂 🙂 It’s pure horror to wear that overall even when it’s rather cool, in the heat it’s indescribable. I drank more water today than I’ve done before in my life I think but I still never needed to pee 🙂 🙂 🙂
That’s it I guess. It poured down when I came home so no walk, sometimes it’s really nice to have dogs that refuse to go outside when it is raining 🙂

I just read this post and the one before it, Christer, and glad you found a replacement crock pot. We have a small one and a larger one, but the large one hasn’t been used since we relocated here. It came in handy in VA when we had friends come for dinner. Here, the smaller one works best for us as when dinner guests have come over, not too often, I use the oven instead or we order food and bring it home.
I can only imagine how hot it must be to work in a paint box wearing heavy clothing. It’s a good thing you kept drinking water too. We will be taking a short vacation next week and going not too far – to the state of Maine, only about a 3-1/2-4 hour drive from our home.

I used my old one all the time but when it broke I never got my thumb out to buy a new one. Finally I have and I’ll pick it up tomorrow on my way home from work 🙂 I’ll mostly make the dinner I hav at work with it so this one will be just enough big.
Everyone in the hot painting department really need the vacation now. We have a cold water machine in there but we are all drinking so much water now that it’s lukewarm as best 🙂 🙂 🙂
